So i've been hooking up with this girl i like a lot, and i've given up on trying to be her boyfriend. we've talked about it and she has her reasons but regardless we're pretty close and she likes me a lot too.
I'm confused because there's a part of me that wants to treat her as if she's my girlfriend, but if she isn't then i just don't really know what to do.
so lately i've been having questions like: Do i make an effort to talk to her even if it means like texting her often? do i get her shit for valentines?etc.
It makes sense cause its my senior year and any real relationship would have to end in a few months anyways. kinda sucks but hey its life.

Nahh son,you just chilll. She's made it clear that she just wants to have fun, but she's a bitch, they don't really know what they want lol What I suggest you to do, is rev up whatever you do that makes her attracted to you. Tease her more, make your time more precious etc.. I'd actually text her less, and make her invest more time in the relationship. The more she's invested, the more she's going to want. The more she wants, the higher the chances of a relationship, but the point is you want her to come out and say it, and not the other way around, else you'll be tooled with. DO NOT GET HER ANYTHING FOR VALENTINES, don't even mention the holiday to her. If she on the other hand refers to you has her valentine first, no matter how minor (secret lover, secret valentine etc), then I'm confident in saying that's her SOI that you're somewhat looking for. Still, the key is to remain in your frame even after she's mentioned it. Don't start buying her flowers and shit just because she's dropped A hint on wanting a relationship. Be casual about it And on relationships in senior year: Don't stress it man. If you find a girl and she's relationship material and down for it, go for it. You have the whole summer to spend together and whatnot, don't just drop it because you only have a few months, that's lameee

everything you're saying makes sense and i definitely like what you said about senior year.
I mean she texts me a lot and i feel like a lot of the reason she likes me is because im more honest and i guess nicer than the guy she used to date. so theres a part of me thats like should i get something for her? but i think i'll go with what you said because she's not my girl, so why should i get her something lol
