Fuck you. You have brought an equal amount of pain as you have pleasure. Sure having sex is awesome and have a girl like you is also awesome, but you completley leave me hanging when it comes relationships. You teach me how to get a girls number and seduce her, but what if I just want to have a long relationship with sex and compassion with only 1 girl? Where's your ebook or 100 hour long DVD program for that?

I think that pick up is kind of a double edged sword. It teaches you how to get the girl( mehows actual ebook), but not how to keep the girl. After you let down your walls, its leaves your emotions so vulnerable, that it can crush you for days, weeks or months after a break up. Then what do you do? You have to wait and mourn about it all, maybe try and get back with her. One of my managers at work, who is a natural, told me to NOT try and get back with my ex girl friend, it starts a cycle of break up and get back together that you don't want to experience, and most of the time the break up\get back together happens over and over again because of the same thing originally.

Sometimes this pain can cause some guys to never want to get into a relationship ever again. One of my best friends is really good with women, partially because he his going to be a model when he graduates from highschool and he's used to getting attention from girls. He is litterally talking\having sex with atleast FOUR girls right now. But it was because of ONE girl that broke up with him over the summer, they spent so much time together talking, having sex and everything that since they broke up atleast 5 months ago, he is still hurting. Her excuse:" nothing lasts forever" he has that image of the text message burnt into his eyes for ever, he loved her, but she crushed him. Now shes sending him mixed signals and wants to get back together with her, but he doesn't. Long story short, he is trying to fill this whole in his heart with having sex with alot of girls, to try and get his mind off this ONE girl. And it doesn't work. He didn't even realize what he was doing, until I had to talk to him about it, i put his emotions into words, which he couldnt do. He's in this cycle of having sex, trying to numb the pain.

I don't want any guy on the is forum to fall into the same predicament. It feels terrible constantly, he always gets more drunk that most people, to still try and numb the pain.

Before you move onto one girl, make sure your over the first one. Things in your life will be much easier and you won't have a fear of going into a relationship.

Do you really need a ebook, seminar, bootcamp, etc to learn this? Why do you have to rely on others to teach you something? Why not get yourself up and go for it? I for one am glad that pick up doesn't teach you this.

First of all, pick up can't teach you this, because all pick up teaches you is either how to trick a girl into bed, or how to become a man. If you went the easier route, maintaining a relationship will be a lot harder.

And besides, with the bullshit that a majority of these "PUA gurus" teach you, do you really want to trust them on this? I sure as hell won't.

Secondly, I would like the gratification of knowing I didn't have to rely on others to have a decent relationship with a girl. Pick up can't hold your hand through life, some of these things you're going to have to learn yourself.

And on the pain part,
It may seem harsh, but it's a part of life. It let's you know you're human. What's life without pain? That's half of a life. Not to be pessimistic, but life isn't always a barrel full of cherries. It's going to have ups and downs. How you deal with those downs shows you who you truly are. It shows how strong you are.

Pick up is a gift. Pick up has helped countless people. But when you take everything of pick up as fact and make it your life, that's when you'll have problems. Learn to deal with stuff on your own. After all, the only opinion that should matter is your own.

I wasnt actually saying, i want to read an ebook to tell me how to be in a relationship. It just feels like, why the fuck would you teach me all of this shit on how to get with a girl, but not actually have the relationship? The entire point of reading all of that shit and watching what and why some people pay so much money for programs is so " we dont have to go through the same pain this person did to get the same information"

I completley agree with you when you talk about the pain and figuring out how to make a better relatinship on your own, that how you actually learn most of pick up and feeling the pain of rejection from other girls.

But when you get the feeling on just being left to hang out to try after a relationship, it feels terrible. Ive had 3 girl friends since i started pick up, and it seems that pick up actually shortens my time i have in relationships.

I guess im just feeling the pain right now from making the same mistake for the third time in a relationship and venting

It does hurt, but it's just a part of life. Everyone goes through it, MPUA or AFC.

And I believe that when you learn Pick Up, its supposed to help you for everything. Except, it all depends on how you learn it. Are you internalizing being a man and the basics on how to be attractive (lifestyle, fashion, etc), or are you just internalizing lines?

One of these will help you in relationships.

Are you willing to experience the pain for the pleasure? That's the real question when getting into relationships.

It was this question that kept me hesitating, eventually leading to a recent downfall of a relationship. still getting over it..but personally, I'm willing to experience both pain and pleasure rather than nothing at all.

PUA will teach you how to get the girl but dont you think if you did everything right she will see who you actually are. Pretty much you can pick up a girl and still end up making her your girlfriend. You may have to play things diffrent but I mean its still possible. And I am sorry bro. Relationship problems suck. I have had only 7 gfs and 5 of them ended up cheating on me. We all feel your pain. But after things pass and the pain goes away build from that. Use it as motivation and insperation to try harder and not let the problems happen again.

Wes is right...maybe we all should have never even opened The Game. Maybe we should have stayed in our beds crying ourselves to sleep wishing we had the balls to even talk to a girl.

The fact is we chose not to do this. We didn't accept what we thought was the inevitable.

We chose to pursue our goals with women, not because they were easy, but because they were hard!

Because these goals would serve to organize and measure the best of our energies and skills, because this challenge is one that we are willing to accept, one we are unwilling to postpone, and one which we intend to win goddammit!

You overcame your problem opening, you overcame attraction, qualification, comfort and seduction!

Not the gurus, YOU WES.

Now it's time to overcome your next challenge, and your sure as hell not gonna be able to do that by bashing the one thing that got you where you are today.

Because if it wasn't for PUA you wouldn't even be able to bitch about not keeping a lasting relationship with a girl.
