I'm fat. For the msot part ive always been fat, thoguh there was a solid year when i was skinny from the end fo 6th rgade to the end of 7th grade, this was due to ahrd work in 6th rgade to lose 15 pounds (a lot when you consider it was more than ten percent of my body at the time).
I put on weight beginnign of eigth grade when an injury kept me from doing ym usual cross coutnry practices whcih involved serveral miles runnign every day.
I am now about 5 foot 9 inches i am a senior. i weigh about 200 pounds, maybe 195. Im not cocnerned with weight, I just want to recompose my body. I cant do a pullup, I would like to be able to do 15 straight by the end of the school year. I used to be able to do 44 pushups, now i can do about 30, I want to be able to bang out 50 by the end of the school year. I would also like to work on my abs.
If anyone has good body weight workouts or circuits, I would be eager to hear from you. My basic philosophy on dieting will be to ask myself- "what good does this food serve you?" before I eat anything. if i can respond legitimately with nutritional fact, I will eat it. If i can't then i won't. I will probably be supplementing with CGT-10 whcih is a combined creatine, glutamine, taurin supplement.
what do you guys think, overall? just spit otu ideas and responses.

good for you man. If i were you i would probably supplement with some protein if you are trying to get stronger. If you are tryin to cut fat, i would work on strength first then try to trim down that way you'll have some muscle to show once you lose the fat

I'm gonna lsoe the weight first, while doing moderate muscle work. Since you can really only focus on losing fat or gainign muscle and not really both at the same time, i think it would be best to try to lose the fat first then just focus on builfing muscle. I'm gonna try to gain some muscle by getting my cardio from doing circuits and supersets, as these can be really good for overall body recomposition.

I'm gonna try to gain some muscle by getting my cardio from doing circuits and supersets, as these can be really good for overall body recomposition. It has been proven that the more muscle you have the more calories are burned even if your just sitting around on the couch lounging around the more muscle the more burned. So I would suggest getting a good balance between lifting weights and Cardio. For a weight lifting routine I also suggest you go with full body workouts check here www.bodybuilding.com/fun/wotw101.htm. Make sure not to waste time get the lifting done within or less than an hour. Another thing is get in some sprint work that will really cut down on fat. As for diet I'm thinking you may have a handle on it with that mindset though don't forget drink a lot of water with the occasional fruit drink and what not. Fruits and veggies , no preprocessed food lean meats ,white meats. Make sure to work at it everyday! You can do it.

The trick to losing weight that's worked well for me is pretty simple, only eat food, not food-like substances. This basically means avoid eating anything your great-great-grandparents wouldn't recognize as food, super-processed stuff. The reason so many people are overweight is that with heavily processed foods, people can consume WAY too many calories without filling themselves up or even realizing they're eating a lot. Eat real food, fruits, veggies, meats, nuts, some grains, but try to limit those, and stick to whole wheat. Also, with eating only real food you'll feel so much better all the time because you'll be taking in so many more vitamins and nutrients that too many people are deficient in. You pretty much have the idea down with the whole "what good does this food do me?" idea, just trying to further iron it out for you.
Also, this is just a basic guide, splurge every once in a while or you'll go crazy, and sometimes it's just not realistic to avoid processed stuff. Just try to stick with this as much as you can and you'll start to see noticeable results. Plus, your taste buds will adjust over time, so you'll crave unhealthy stuff less and less over time.

yeah, i think nows the time to do it. Im going to college next year and wanna show up looking good. Besides, i'm starting to get pissed that 6th grade me had the sense and willpower to drop so much weight and now I, at my current age, cannot.
and as far as the muscle burns fat thing. It definitely does, but i am in the phase where i am just starting, the best way to lose weight at this stage would be to focus in on losing weight, while building a moderate amoutn of muscle, and in 2,3, even 4 months, switch to a bodybuilding phase. Its definitely better to focus on one at a time since building strong muscle depends on a bountiful diet and losing a lot of fat depends on a limited, but balanced one.

You can do each separate things on different days as long as you spread them out. For example, weights and muscle building on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays along with cardio on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. I used to be 235 lbs in the start of my freshman year. I am now 175 lbs as a sophomore. All you have to do is get of your butt, eat healthy, lift weights (I'm on the football team, but most of my success came from P90 and some ebooks I downloaded. Hit me up if you're interested), and FIX YOUR BODY POSTURE. Body posture is a great way to look better instantly so you gain confidence and intensity in your workouts. It strengthens muscles that pull in your stomach and makes you look better. This along with cardio and weights will make you look 100x better over time.

what i meant is that right now im goign to build a moderate amount of muscle while losing weight. once i've lsot the weight i can start carbo-laoding, eating protein shakes and all that in order to get RIPPED. I was in a research program fro young scientists and my area of interest was body recomposition, fitness, supplementation, etc. So i know the most effective way to do thigns, and I will definitely be working in alternating days of cardio, i also preface every workout with a 15 mintue run and close with a 15 mintue run. TODAY I DID 2 PULLUPS. Thanks for the support guys.

What I'd do: Start an extreme cardio routine. Eat clean, drink water only. Lots of running, crossfit, some weight training. When your trying to lose weight, weight training is good but it shouldn't be the priority. You should be trying to CUT weight, properly, then BULK up and BUILD muscle, not fat. If your still fat, and you want to take whey, YOU MUST LIFT OFTEN. If you lift weights 2 times a week or less, NO WHEY. Sources: -I wrestle -I do a lot of excercise
