Read The Game This Week

It was an awesome read. Really opened my mind and I am now very excited to learn more about being a PUA. I talked to many girls today and made them all smile. I could tell they enjoyed talking to me. All of them. I was happy.

Now I want to know what I should check out next. Right now, I'm thinking of either checking out David DeAngelo's Deep Inner Game or Mystery Method. I've read Double Your Dating and enjoyed it, but I'm not sure what I need to read first. I still have some inner game issues but I really want to read Mystery Method after reading The Game.

What should I do?

alrighty, if you read the game most of the PUA guys got into it without a clear foundation, and most of them paid for it. So find what your going into the game for and understand that it is only a tool.

That said heres what you should do.
PUA has gone from the routine memorization to natural game, internalizing game so that it is your personality. So find a system of thought.
I've found that the ghost and the flame process from revelation describes this the best, but the HSPF forums ebook and grapes ebook have lots of good explanation of the thought process.

I would go out and read as much as possible but if your really into the Mystery Method then watch some of mysteries vids here

and I have pdfs of the books if you want.

a really cool way to start is to take the 30 day style life challenge and at the same time read up on all the other methods. I recommend focusing on game stuff rather then hypnosis like the octoberman sequence till you know what your doing though.

Style wrote 'The Game' and he released a book that was a 30 day challenge to lose your AFC status.

Every method has it's own strengths. The Mystery Method was the original first real concrete method that showed some sort of "progression model". Granted it's geared more toward the club atmosphere, it still has points that can be utilized for high school.

There was a reason Style became the best. It's because he took everything.

Learning pick up is just like learning politics or religion. Never subscribe to a single track of thought or otherwise your views will be clouded by bias and misinformation.

The whole "Mystery Method" thing is definitely becoming more useful as a general method rather than club specific though. Especially with the Revelations ebook.

So while Grape is right to the point that Mystery Method isn't really geared toward the high school environment you can still learn a lot from it.

Your best bet for high school though in my humble opinion is David DeAngelo's Cocky and Funny. Hands down the best for high school if you've got the wit to back it up.

I'm posting a new thread for the ebooks

and grape, the mystery method does rely too heavily on routines and the first book is for a club environment but the system is a really good way to get an overall view of game, and revelation focuses less on routines and more on self game.

it has sooo many more disadvantages than advantages.

your perception on society turns into one of an egotistic douche bag and you base your relationships around one, single, method.

let me tell you that life isn't meant to be broken down to repeat itself 1000000 times by following one specific method.

why did it work so effing well for Mystery and Style? because it was THEIR OWN. it was what was natural for them and they didnt follow it exactly.

they tried to rationalize their success by coming up with a 9-step method..but it's b.s.
they succeeded because they were out interacting with people and learning from their mistakes, like EVERYONE ELSE.
but their 'method' simply helped them get over their approach anxiety b/c it gave them more confidence in thinking that it would rarely fail them.

dont read the mystery method. the only thing you need to get out of it is that relationships are built out of attraction, comfort, and sex.

done. simple. now never touch that book of poison that's been outdated for many years now.

even Mystery probably chuckles at the thought of it now.

The mystery method is great for starting. if you're a shy person and you want to be more outgoing you should go through that phase of the "asshole"
but the important thing is to TRANSITION IT into your own personal style of life
The MM isn't really that bad, it's made to make you believe in yourself and as NLP and hypnosis say: "if you believe in something it becomes real"
if you believe and trust that you're a confident guy who gets all the girls you will
but for an AFC it's not that easy
