I dont know I think girls like most guys that are preppy then "gangster" or "emo". Skater too can count as preppy but i mean like nice clean rich looking clothes .

Like sweater vest, collerd shirts
jeans that are fitted but not fitted on the ass ...not too saggy but not up ur ass jus a little down.

I mean sure if u want to get a gangster girl or emo girl or what ever type girl, then u can try dressing like them, but i think all these "social groups" would like the preppy look on a guy so its ur best bet.

What are ur opinions?

there is something called sexy stereotyping. If you dress to fit a stereotype that is considered sexy, that sex appeal comes along with it.

the preppy style is very misunderstood, especially on the high school level. Preppy style is not american eagle, aeropostal, hollister ect...true preppy style is HIGH END COUTURE. Such as giorgio armani. Or atleast clothing that emulates a higher end look.

i think looking well groomed totally beats looking trashy.

but... preppy isn't the only kind of well groomed there is.
the whole musician image with the styled hair with a fit t-shirt, hoodie, and skinny jeans works veryyyyy well.
the prep who actually wears his clothes without looking like a complete tool (popped collar, saggy jeans) makes himself look very well as well.

fashion is an art, and art is undefinable. it doesnt matter what 'style' you're going for to look good, just make it look like you're taking care of yourself.
