I want you to try this:
Make a ring with your index finger and thumb and cuff it to another ring made by your other index finger and thumb.
Now one hand should pull the other.
Think of something or someone you really really love.
Try to pull your hands apart.
..hard right?
Now think of something that puts you in a bad mood.
Try to pull your hands apart.
..a bit easier?
If just pretending to be in a bad mood or being in love has this much of an effect, imagine how much messages you're giving off if you're stressful.
Now you know you should never try to fake happiness or confidence.
We can use this trick to our benefit though. Believing in happiness.
Being happy will also display messages subconsciously through body language, vocal tonality, and facial expressions.
You need to be ABSOLUTELY positive and BELIEVE that you are who you want to be.
If you want to be that successful guy, then believe things like
- I am successful
- Everyone wants me
- I am fun and energetic
- I am adventurous
Don't just.. think it. Feel it. If you can't control your emotions yet, practice by bringing up past memories and put yourself in that event. Remind yourself of how amazing you felt and how successful you felt.
Having beliefs like:
- I suck with girls and people
- I have no life
- I'm a loser
WILL affect your body. Many diseases and tumors come from low self-esteem and stress that just subconsciously communicate, "I have no right to live. I should just die."
Your body actually listens. It WILL die.
Some tips:
- Stay away from the things that give you bad feelings. STAY AWAY.
- Realize what makes you feel better, and stick to it. But don't get too attached to it. Because one day it TOO will get out of your grasp, and then you'll crave for 'another source' of happiness. Instead, embrace and take away.
With beliefs and a strong mindset, you WILL become confident and you WILL see results.
