I've Lost Myself

I just went through 2 years of my own Facebook posts. I have the most nostalgic feeling right now. I really feel like I've lost my old self. It seems like I used to be so happy. I can't say I'm not now but it's like I don't show it anymore. I'm so much different. I'm not really sure I even like it. I have new friends and a "better social status" but I'm not really sure it's worth losing who I was.

I'm so overwhelmed right now. I've been trying to find my passion but I can't even figure that out. I don't know what to do.

I had the same feeling once. It really gives you a different perspective. It's good though. Good for setting up new goals.

Also, you'll always think back and think you were so happy, and blahblahblah!
I wanna go to kindergarten again too - but the thought if out of my mind when I realize I only remember the good stuff. It's always like that, and you'll deal with it subconsciously.

I once learned a great lesson. I said I feel like such an idiot/retarded/bad for something I just did and she replies

"Thats good, your maturing. When you look back and can see you don't think about it the same as when you did it, your maturing."

You were alot happier sure. I was happy as fuck when I was 5. We all were. Welcome to life. Its a bitch, and she slaps.

But I truly think it's part of growing up. I like to call it the evolution theory. Honestly yo, that shit doesn't just stop at the physical level. I think in order to adapt to situations, we make necessary changes.

Bro, you're just at a low point. Think back to that time, and now, like zegoni said, think of the negative. All the bullshit you had to go through. Maybe it was not having a car, or too small of a penis. Shit like that always gets forgotten quickly.

Fuck the norm definition of passion, "something you love doing" blah blahh, soo fucking vague. I believe it is what makes you happy. It's something you can picture yourself doing at 80 years and still having a kick with it. I'm sure you can do that.
