Class clown

wats up guys. i have a concern that has been bothering me for quite some time. do any of you know why some people are successful at being an attention whore in class and why other people who try fail and end up being annoying? i cant seem to figure it out, sometimes i see a kid trying to funny in class and people turn and tell him hes annoying and then i see the classical class clown who makes everyone in the class laugh. whats the deal here?

Well, belief is pretty self explanatory.

If you believe the jokes you are making or doing are funny then you are doing it right. You can't be stifled at all, you can't be in your head thinking, "Oh I've got a great joke to what the teacher said... but other's may not think it's funny... uh... let's say it". No. Wrong. Believe that what you are saying is funny.

Now non-reaction seeking can be a bit hard when you're a class clown (I should know I used to be the biggest class clown, still probably am to some). You shouldn't be saying the stuff or jokes just to get a reaction out of others. You'll look tryhard and people will feel it. Even if what you said was the funniest thing in the world, if you do it to get a reaction out of people or you don't believe it people won't laugh.

What you need to be doing is amusing yourself. Most of the class clowns don't say random shit to make others laugh, it's because they think it's fucking hilarious themselves. It's pure self-amusement. I know people who said the stupidest shit, but because they genuinely were amused with what they were saying you can't help but laugh.

Btw, status always helps too, but that isn't the main reason as to how to make people laugh and make people annoyed.
