People at my school think I am boring and weird

It fuckin really pisses me off. I used to hang out with the popular kids at school and they acted nice and cool in front of me, we cracked jokes etc. Now its a new year and they are avoiding me, I think they were just using me last year. They called me a "square, a follower, or boring" How do I reclaim my title and work my way up to popularity and parties. Basically how can I be badass, and popular. Please dont give me that popularity is not necessary bullshit because all the HB7'S and above are in the popular crew and to get to them I need to start getting popular. How can I be popular?
