Occasionally, Abercrombie and Fitch has some decent shirts, I bought a muscle shirt there that says "Don't get too excited, I'm just the wingman". Affliction and One More Round are excellent, in particular, One More Round. SICK BRAND.
I don't have a million shirts like that obviously, but it is nice to have some major quality shirts like those to wear sometimes to turn some heads.
But whatever you do, DO NOT wear what everyone else is wearing. The pick-up artist must be the exception to the rule.

I indeed do need some new jeans.. When will lucky jeans have another 50% off sale? Those pants look nice No clue. Mine are though, I have a $50 dollar pair that I wear with the affliction shirts and then a $75 pair that goes with my gameday shirt and then nice button-ups. Once again though I gotta stress the Levi's, cheaper and they look good. Nine

I buy my clothes at express, h&m, ebay (this is killer, cheap clothes and great for peacocking) I buy a ton of my clothes online though. Sites like: www.shrinestore.com I found out that its great to dress different then everyone else. Everyone in high school dresses the same, stand out

If you want some sweet clothes check out Buckle, its kind of expensive but there's some decent stuff. I personally think the Affliction clothing line is pretty badass

Everything you wear should be peacocking, just to varying extents.
Urban, Topman, Buckle are all great places to shop, but all of my best stuff has come from stores with constantly changing stock.
Wholesalers like Marshalls are ok Places like goodwill or savers are kinda shot in the dark. Have gotten some great stuff, but sometimes leave empty-handed. If there's one near you, Buffalo Exchange is my single favorite store. No matter how much money I walk in with, I spend all of it there.
The great thing about local stores (well, chains, but they get merchandise locally) like these is that whatever you get will be unique. Obviously it came from somewhere, but you won't be like every other would-be hipster shopping at Urban.

I find that Topman is quite generic, recently I've taken to going to independent, quirky stores, so i have stories behind my look.

I'm a fan of Urban Outfitters and Obey. There's also a hippie-type skate shop in LA that I really like. I stay away from the big brands (down in Orange County it's Quiksilver and Volcom) unless the colors are great/on sale.

APC new standards are a good choice. To anyone who doesn't wear raw denim: start. There's nothing better in the world.
