I recently bought 2 AE shirts because they are so fucking comfortable and the fit is amazing.
I'll be wearing a sweater over it though.

NO LOGO, read it, it really opened my eyes Yep you are 100% correct. Don't wear shirts with logos on them, everr. And dont wear shirts that scream off their brand "Ed Hardy made by ..." Its bad. Also the clothing is generic because of how it looks. Polos, come on everyone and their grand mother wears them thinking that they are "fashionable". Same goes with American Eagles, and all that other shit. It is just a mainstream idea (social proof!) that if many people do/buy something you should too, because everyone else was. If it wasn't for that concept, ugg boots, ae, abercrombi, ect would be bankrupt.

except occasionally a polo is a nice thing (plus here they're relatively uncommon)
and the reason AE and abercrombie made it is because their clothes are high quality

They made it because it is a teenage stereotype. Social proof works wonders in the world. Its over priced junk.

i think one of the reason why people buy AE, abercrombie and Hollister is because, they think anything they buy there in "in stlye" so people that may not have any concept of style go in ther and buy whatever the maniken in the store is dressed in.
o ya have u guys seen that dumbass RAIN COAT they sell at AE? i walked and started laughing when i saw it

Dream's right... H&M, great quality, brilliant fit and only £20... I have a grey bootcut pair I bought about a year ago, still look brand new just a bit tight so now their like a slim fit...

well, i didn't really need a source did I? Your comment that only AE and abercromie sell high quality clothing "overpriced but still better than anyone else" was farcical really. H&M is not meant to be super-well known. It's clothing that doesn't scream its brand at you like others. Great quality, great shape, great style and lower prices by MILES than the big brands.

I love H & m, but their clothes aren't that high quality. They are super cheap, which makes it a great fucking store.
Ae has junk lol, same with abercrombie and those stores. It isn't even that high quality. For what you pay there, you could get great stuff, if you know where to shop

I'm swith Dream on this one: Abercrombie, AE are medium quality for sky-high prices, AND you look like everyone else.
Go to a vintage, discount, or trading store so you'll get something unique.
