Alright. I'm 115 pounds. Pretty skinny. I have an 8 pack. I want to get huge. I already lift m-w-f and i just need some advice on protein/supplements/eating. I AM vegetarian (note: NOT VEGAN) and i was wondering what i should be trying to eat to gain as many pounds as possible. I currently drink 2 protein shakes a day (40g protein ea) in addition to 3 meals. I want to gain roughly 30-40 pounds of muscle.
Also, i've been considering trying out creatine. Does it work? Is it frowned upon like steroids? Any bad side effects? What would be a good place to get it? I have a friend who uses it and has great success with it, but I want to make sure theres nothin wrong with it.

drink alot of millkk. The fat and carbs in there are exactly what you need to bulk up! So drink and eat.
and eat. everytime you think youre full, drink some more milk. and wait like 30-1 hr. then eat again.
I'm being dead serious too. You're at 115 lbs. You have a longggg way to go but you can do it. How tall are you?
Also, I would cut back on lifting for now. You don't want to burn any of those hard-eaten calories. You want to focus on getting fat, yes you'll lose the abs, but when you cut again, you'll be a MONSTER.
Don't worry about using creatine right now. It's more useful when you're cutting, so put that aside for later.
What should you eat? Whatever you see in sight. Seriously man, there's no point in trying to be selective. Get as much shit in your body as possible, fill up as much space.

Yeah. I smoke. I eat quite a bit already. Even if i stop lifting i wont gain weight. i stopped over the summer and ate tons. nothin happened. i'm 5'6 so its not like i'm tall and super skinny. i mean last year i was 90 lbs and i put on 25 by starting lifting (pretty much all newbie gain). i'm starting to drink milk a bunch. brb going to get some food.
ok, scratch what i said above. next week i'll do an experiment with not lifting and eating shit tons.

well my friend it all depends on what you eat. if you're eating like 2 packs of skittles and then nothing until dinner, of course youre not going to gain anything.
trust me, most people that think they eat alot, aren't actually eating that much.
If I were you, to get a bettter grasp of how much cals you're getting in, start looking at the nutrition info of whatever food it is.
You'll be surprised at how easily you'll end up thinking you put in 3K calories when it was barely 1.5

dude thats the worst getting big advice ever lol smoke weed and eat and dont lift? Thats good if you dont wanna ever see your dick again and weigh 400 pounds. If you wanna get big you gotta lift, and you gotta lift big. Eat alot but the only way your gonna see results is hard work, nothing else. There isnt a shorcut other than steroids which are a bad idea.
You gotta man up and put the work in.

I agree with most of what stevenadrian said except for the part about stopping lifting. Yeah i know you have to put in the work in but hell, i can do it. and yeah about the calories thing, i'm thinking of buying some "monster mass" protein powder and i'll take it after lifting on my gym days (its 600+ calories a serving, 50g protein).

Yeah adrien is an idiot. You can eat(I'd encourage it), but eat right, lots of protein, fiber, and other good nutrients. There's a bunch of supplements, Creatine can work, some say it's harmful some don't, but it helps, use some supplements but the key to getting big is putting in the work.

Anyway man, what does your diet consist of ? I was eating veg for around a month, I felt great. But then I started eating meat again...and I put on more muscle that way. Personally, i do hate the killing aspect - which made me go veg in the first place.

I am/was in the same position. Don't lose the abs, they are way harder to get back but EAT, GYM, SLEEP and don't use creatine, my biology teacher lectured us on it and apparently brutal kidney and liver problems later in life. Also drink lots of water. However you wont unless you hit a growth spurt like i did, I'm up to 145 from 100 13 months ago, gain that much but look at the Adonis ratio (1.618 shoulder:waist). You look way bigger than you are.

This dude weights 115 lbs! Am I the only one seeing the undersize?
He probably has a fast metabolism, so to gain weight, he's going to have to change the way his body handles food..Though I do take back what I said about not lifting..lifting is good, lifting alot is useless. Go bigg, youre gaining weight, so youll get that strength up in no time!
Eating right and all that shit would make sense if he was heavier, and had to worry about putting tooo much weight, and then again, I'd still prefer dirty bulking, but that's me..Cutting is there for a reason. Right now, any weight is good weight.
Besides, he's probably a student, and missing meals is something that will just happen..
Have fun trying to manage cals though..I'll check back to see how frustrated you are because you can't seem to get any weight!
