Hey, So i've been using FL studio for about 4 years now, about 2 hours a day, i have a midi keyboard and i'm self taught. i'm wondering if anyone else uses it and would want to work on something together. I want to produce dnb, house, dubstep, or hardstyle. I have a bit of experience producing all four but i've probably worked on dubstep and dnb the most. I been thinking alot about working on some hardstyle lately but who knows. Anyways, message me up

Hey man thats awesome! I'm using an axiom 49 midi keyboard and FL Studio 9 XXL. I just started using FL a couple months ago. I'm still learning how to use the program and its full capabilities for creating music. Also, I'm teaching myself how to play the keyboard. What helped you the most to learn how to use FL and play?

I'm mainly a hip-hop/house kind of guy, but I can help out with whatever I can. I have 10gb worth of tutorials for this program only, so I can look it up if I don't know anything.

Hey how's that ableton goin? Ive been trying to learn the interface after I bought the APC 40, but it's just so damn different than most of the DAWs out there, I get lost all the time.

I just got it a couple days ago and I have no idea what to do with it It seems like it would be really fun though if I ever had the time to learn it. If anyone has an Android phone (might be on iPhone, too), there is an app just like FL studios (lite for free) that lets you do quite a bit. It's called uloops.

Haha this the most confusing thing ever. I'm so unmusically talented but any ideas on were to start just for fun cause I do enjoy this type of music

Well Canadian, what type of music do you want to make and what do you want to do with it? If you're djing, you want programs like traktor or ableton live. If you want to produce, rap, sing, or just mess with music as a hobby, the most reasonable program you want is fl studio (better than GarageBand) for hip hop and classical and ableton live for house, dnb, and dubstep. But, fl studio is the easiest to learn and it can also create great electronic music. Ableton just sounds better after the steep learning curve. After that, there are programs like reason, Cubase, and pro tools that will create the most professional type sound.
There are many tutorial videos, forums, and classes out thre for these programs. Futureproducers.com and warbeats.com are some examples.

I've been using FL Studio as a hobby for about three years now, I also use Traktor for DJing. I make House, Trance, Hip-Hop and Chillout. I'd be happy to help anyone out or even do a collab if anyone is interested

Yeah I do that stuff do but I use ableton I mostly produce dubstep/trance and hip-hop beats I used FL for a while but if you get ableton down it's way easier and (in my opinion) more versatile

I love fl studio. I even got the mobile version to mess around with while I'm on the go. I do house mainly so I have all the vengeance packs and such. It's on and off though since schools a bit hectic
