First impressions are one of the most important parts of a relationship yes? I think so.. I planned out my next couple of weeks in my head. Talk talk talk. That's ALL there is to it. Make new friends. With Everyone. Talk to random people on the bus, in the hallways, cafeteria, lunch line, classroom, library, Facebook, Myspace. Besides, most of this will not be affecting my academics.
My Motivation: "So my plan is to treat the next few weeks as if I would be miserable for the school year if I didn't talk. (Which may just be the case)"
I want a good school year, thus I will come in strong right off the bat so I can chill for the remainder of the school year (2nd-4th Quarter)
Yeah?

I completely agree. Thats what I tried but I knew that I couldn't be friends with everyone so I also found the people with the most friends ahd became really good friends with them. Now I have an in to almost any group.

Perfect. Being almost done High School, I find the time people are most friendly to you are after holidays.
Changing other peoples beliefs of you is probably 5x harder than making a good impression.

Meh, methinks old posts like this are fine, but FR's and specific help shouldn't be gravedug.
As for this, middle school lurkers, as school winds down you should get your shit together. Try new stuff, because cliques in HS set FAST. Be social, erring on the side of controversial in the first month of freshman year because it will make your time a lot easier afterwards. Same goes for transfers.
