For those PUA experts out there, I would like to ask, how significant a role could music play in a relationship? I would like to think that I am a skilled pianist and trombonist (no pun intented) and have a huge knowledge on music theory and composition. Could this be of any use to me, for eg. Would there be any point in entertaining girls with piano playing skills or is that just a bit 'gay' for the 21st century?

Its pretty gay dude but could also be boring. Do use it as a dhv though, mention you play such and such. Thing is girls prefer something edgier:bass, guitar, drums etc. Personally I'm way into photography and I mention it quite a lot, it shows I have interests other than sport and girls. If you have a girl over, sit her down at the piano and teach her some basics, it's fun and easy kino-place her hands etc

I don't know about the trombone but I personally think the piano is pretty cool. One major reference would be that Barney Stinson(Neil Patrick Harris) from How I Met Your Mother plays piano. A lot of alpha characters on T.V. and even people in real life I know are pianists.
P.S. Just thought of another one... Charlie from Two and a Half Men plays piano.
Do what DanZy said. Teaching her how to play would be a good way to raise sexual tension...

I think playing the piano could work out well. Girls will probably either find it romantic or will be attracted to you because your talented/passionate about something. Plus if you teach a chick how to play an instrument it can give stuff to talk about later to build comfort; as well what was said about building kino up above.

Thanks guys, this reminds me of a good question. Would it be wise to use this if it comes up? Girl: "so do you play a musical instrument" me " yeah, i play my organ every day" or "yeah i blow my trombone every day"

Hey man, Im pretty much the exact same. I play trombone and piano, and take them up pretty seriously. I just use it as serious DHV. I will say how Ive got a gig with the Big Band on the weekend and that its nice pocket money. And normally that is enough to grab their attention and they are like "Oh my god, thats soo amazing..." followed by question after question about it. Great conversation as I can weave in stories I have of the band and also its serious DHV without any bragging.
As for the I blow my bone daily jokes I use them quite a lot but only on certain girls and when im more friendly with them. But there is this shirt I saw on the internet that said " I play my bone in 7 positions" with quite a suggestive picture bellow it (just the top half, you know what i mean) And Im sure a shirt like that could make for awesome conversations!

The music is very colorful thread woven throughout the fabric of our lives. Shortly after the birth of the first listen to the melodies in soothing croon lullabies to help our mother's sleep. We learned nursery rhymes, which are designed both to entertain and educate us in the pre-school years, helping to create a framework of social and language skills we need to function in society.

Music is very important in every man's life. Today's life is full of work tensions and people hardly find time to relax. When someone has to relax and look for a peaceful life then one definetely looks and urges to hear music. Music not only hearing is pleasant but also people who play certain instruments also find utter pleasure in it.

having skills like that could serve useful only under a few limited occasions such as a romantic night out and you casually have an opportunity to play the instrument. i dont think that knowing how to play music is gay at all. actually, its completely the opposite, it shows that you spend your time wisely.

Music can change your attitude and affect you. Atleast it does to me. I made a rule with myself, at every thing with grinding I must go during my song (Stereo Love) and either be rejected or succeed with girls. No exception, I haven't broken the rule yet (even if I can't get a girl within the time of the song )

Music also plays a fundamental role in the human psyche, the emotional response can lead to long years a certain time, place or after the event. Through music we humans express ourselves in ways beyond counting. When our earliest childhood memories with the simple verse melody as much as language and accent to educate both the entertainment started with the service.
