Becoming popular at a new school...

Hey guys watsup? I'm new here and this is my first post, so please be patient if I've got this in the wrong place or something. This forum looks really interesting and I think you guys can definitely help me. So here's the issue (you guys probably here this a lot): I'm 15 and just started at a new high school in 10th grade. I used to go to an all-boys school since 7th grade, and this is my first time in a public or co-ed school. I've been there for three days (I switched mid-year). And I'd really like to fit in and be really popular here. I'm good at adapting and becoming who I need to be (I did at my old school, but only three years in...it took me about two years to undo the damage I did being anti-social and nerdy at first). Also, I really want to get a girlfriend...sure I want her to be hot, but I also want to like spending time with her and stuff. I've never had a girlfriend, although I got really close over the summer (she said she would have gone out with me but her mom wouldn't let her date till she was 15, but a friend of her's setting me up with her told me so I never really ended up asking her out, etc.). I've made out with a few girls, but only at clubs and I never talked with them really or saw them again. So up till now I've been the kind of "Will"-type guy described, where I'm almost invisible and say nothing one way or the other, but it's only been three days, so I think I can still turn things around pretty easily. So, all-in-all, I'm looking to be popular and have cool friends that are guys/girls, and have a girlfriend, while still being hot and cool to other girls and being able to flirt/seduce/converse well without getting nervous or flustered.

P.S. One specific thing I have no real idea about would be eye-contact...like I don't know where I should be looking (whether I'm chatting up a girl (which I can't really do yet) or just talking to friends)...when I look away I feel like I look too nervous, and when I look straight in their eyes, I feel kind of like a perv.

you feel like a perv because its UNCOMFTOABLE! its uncomfortable becuase it raises the sexual tension. YOU WANT TO RAISE THE SEXUAL TENSION. but you need to actually talk to people, not just stare at them all day.

K that makes sense...I tried it today and worked pretty well. So what would you guys specifically recommend as far as getting a specific girl (becoming popular, getting into her circle of friends, getting them to set me up with her...)? Thanks!

As far as getting a specific girl, there really is no method besides just going for it. One of my best friends gets girls from cliques he barely knows. He does it all himself. He's kind of a pothead but he gets really classy, sort of nerdy girls.
