I don't know how many people here like rap or keep up with Kanye but my crackhead friend loves him. He, along with Jay Z, Rick Ross, and Nicki Minaj came out with Monster, a pretty damn hardcore song.
The music video was leaked today and it's the most hardcore thing I've seen on YouTube. The song was good enough but the video kicks it up a notch. Just goes to show how relaxed and corrupt we've become and I don't know whether it's good or bad.
Obviously not the final cut. Terrible quality.

quite frankly this is one of the most disappointing controversies ever. If youve ever seen stuff like
a clockwork orange
or
requiem of a dream
or anything along those lines. This is merely stylized. Sure theres references to sociopathic murdering, but the show Dexter is focused on that.
I actually take offense to that. Relaxed and corrupt. corrupt in whose eyes? Yaweh? that deity did more fucked up shit in the bible then this video can even hint at.
Quite frankly media should be open to experiment with different concepts. I'm not open to people spouting propaganda or anything, but artistic libel is just that. I for one am not the biggest fan of kanye, but this was pretty cool.
watch irreversible and then tell me that the video is hardcore, and that our society is corrupt on the basis of this music video.

I didn't base the statement on the video alone Either way we are becoming more relaxed and yes, it is very good to push the limits but there is still "safety precautions" to take. Change of subject but some people literally can't handle something like this which is pretty out there for music media but really mild in the scheme of things and what is out there. Those people can stay away from it, but what about kids? Yes, it is important for boys to become men but younger and younger kids have access nowadays and it's not good for them in my opinion. Yet, I could be wrong. My aunt is a very strict baptist and forces her views on her children and it pisses me off, she doesn't even let her daughter have a fucking FaceBook and she's a year older than me. We're destroying potential as a society. On the other hand, a lot kids are brats nowadays and are extremely disrespectful. Rebellious, yes, but also uninformed. I don't want the next generation to be ignorant rebels.
