I recently read the book of Pook and found this particular section on fashion to be very interesting. And also very true:
"How to Look Like Brad Pitt No, I didn’t mistype that. One girl I knew saw Brad Pitt on TV and orgasmed. “He looks SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO good, *sigh*.” But Brad Pitt’s effect has nothing to do about looks. Brad Pitt is a very symmetrical union of the two sexualities, male and female. He looks innocent but also as a bad@ss, sweet but rough, smooth yet rugged, elegant but strong. “Pook, this is a contradiction!” No, it is not. It is well known that women like guys who have some feminine aspects (i.e. PRETTY BOYS). To get the ‘Brad Pitt effect’, you need to figure out where you are on the sexuality scale (though many males like NERD BOY aren’t on the scale at all!). If you’re a feminine male, you are probably thin, innocent, modest, shy, pretty boyish, curls for hair, large eyes, and have an almost aristocratic style about you. The masculine male is muscular, large, loud, motorcycle, has a goatee or shadow, and has a sporty or outdoorsman style to him. Now that you know where you are at, simply add in elements of the other. Some guys, when they go onto Manhood, carry a piece of adolescence with them. These are the guys that end up with the ‘Brad Pitt effect’ though you can make it your own. Compare this to Nerd Boy. He looks at them and thinks how much ‘smarter’ he is. But is he smarter? No! They may not know their calculus, but they know their sexuality. When women flock to these guys, the Nerd Boy only stands there in awe."
Now, I am very much a pretty boy and, if I must say so myself, rather attractive. But I want, to add some elements of the "badass" side to myself to become even more attractive. You guys have any ideas? So far I have thought of a leather coat but I personally think thats going a bit far for me and won't fit in with my current fashion. I currently dress like a prep, wearing mostly american eagle, hollister, ambercrombie, etc... Any ideas?!
Thanks guys,
-Contempt

Yeah, this could definitely prove to be a great way to improve you looks. Eventually we could make a list of "Badass" things to add to your wardrobe for the pretty boys and "pretty boy" things to add to your wardrobe for our more physically more "manly" members.

Human duality, its a cool part of game if you can find it. The real reason brad pitt has that 'effect' isnt the feminine qualities. Those are helpful, but its his confidence. His confidence and thought process are instilled to his very core. He exudes a presence. He would be the epitome of alpha.
In order to get to that point, being good looking helps, but its all mindset, you have to think like that. I'll get on alphas when I post some more on HGC, dont worry, that will be soon.

Everything posted is OPTIONAL. Nothing I say is law and you are not limited to any of it. Shirts: Scratch the name brands. Completely. It takes awhile but you can get rid of them. There is a wide variety of options not limited to, but including: Henleys (can be worn with overshirt; flanel), v-necks, and my favorite, button ups with top 2-3 unbuttoned(untucked - worn with jeans). Lots of people are wearing flanels, too. Just remember, layers are always good. You'll also notice with Brad Pitt specifically, he's almost NEVER in short sleeves or shorts. Google it, you won't find anything. Just keep that in mind. Pants: Doesn't really matter. Jeans are usually the best. Tight jeans work too if you're in to that. Hair: Doesn't matter as long as it has style. Do something with it. Accessories: Necklace is always good. A rather short one at that. One that brings attention to your open chest. General tips: Don't wear baseball caps. Shades can be cool though, but you might come off as a try hard if you can't pull them off. You can try out the leather coat, but it's hard to find a really good one. It would probably be good for you to at least try though. You might like it. Most importantly is something I think you're already doing, and that is working out. I don't have much to say on this, but there is definitely two sides to working out. Not enough, and yes, too much. Another thing, stay tan. It's obvious but it's attractive. Not that difficult to do either. Like Prodigy said, it has a lot to do with personality. Act badass - become badass. It's almost like people can see badass. Body movement, posture, etc... Confidence is very important. If you're confident in yourself and see yourself as how you want to be, your clothing will reflect that. Hope I helped, - Nick

Yes that is true, but Brad Pitt, personality aside, is considered to be very attractive to women. This is discussing fashion and how his dressing helps him. I mean think of him in most of his movies, especially fight club, the ways he dresses are incredibly masculine. Now think of a guy with extremely masculine features/lots of facial hair etc who is NOT pretty boy. You'll find the ones who are considered to be attractive and stylish dress using less feminine clothing.

Oh and thanks bolt. great resonse. any ideas on a good necklace? i've been thinking about this for a while now, preferably a badass one. Yeah have a few shirts (not sure what their called) with the two buttons up at the top, and i always leave them both unbuttoned to show my chest, if girls ask me why i'm doing it i just tell them its because i'm skanky. (jokingly of course)

I don't really know. A lot of necklaces are good to be honest. Brad Pitt himself usually wears thin chain necklaces with something small hanging down from the end usually on the long side. I prefer shorter ones (not tight though, those suck) that are decorated all the way around with something little hanging off the front. I bought a badass metallic shiny steel looking + shell necklace in Jamaica. That thing is amazing, except one of the shells broke off Another tip, if people ever get on your case about something you wear, just ignore them. It will become natural and they'll probably start liking it in the end. Unless you personally don't like it, then you can probably ditch it, but give it a chance first. Good luck!

Thanks man, Yeah I have a silver chain type necklace but its too long for my liking. Yeah I actually sort of want one of those surfer type shell/brown leather looking necklaces. Any tips on belts? I'm also thinking about throwing in some sort of wrist something, not sure what yet though. Probably earthy colors whatever it is.

for belts, if you want to get a bit more of attention, you can go with a colorful one(red, white, green, avoid blue or black if your wearing jeans) or if you want to look like a badass, you can get a normal belt and put a custom buckle on it.

My feminine shit outshines my masculine qualities. And I can't grow facial hair to save my life. Anybody know how to fix this?

theres nothing wrong with that and it doesnt really need fixing man. as long as you show the girls around you that you are dominant, you dont need to dress like a hardcore mofo haha

its all about genetics so its really hard for some people to grow while other shave every single day!!
A way to get stubble is to shave even if you dont have a lot of hair. When it regrows, it will become thicker.
