(sorry if wrong forum) In some of my classes, I am extremely confident and do what I want when I want, as in, I'm that cool funny kid thats cracking jokes. In other classes, I'm quiet as fuck and don't say shit, I don't know what gets into me, I think its the fact that I know more people in some classes then others. And the classes I'm quiet in are the new classes I just got, maybe I need to start talking to the people around me to boost confidence? There's this one really cute girl that sits in front of me, any tips on how I could approach her? Also in another class, there's a cute girl behind me, any help at all would be appreciated. Thanks!

What you are looking for seems to be a guide on how to "open"
"Opening" is the technique you use to get a conversation started between you and a girl you are interested in. For example, you can turn to the girl who sits behind you...and mention how big of a jackass your teacher is for not letting you use cellphones in class.
As long as you engage the girl, what you say is not important at your stage.
The reason you feel more confident in some classes is that evolution has designed you to feel safer and more confident when you are surrounded by people you are familiar with. Getting to know them better will eventually help settle your nerves.

hey man, I used to have this problem (and still do in 1 of my classes) so I think I can help you out here. Think about who you are in the classes that you have fun in, talk a lot, and are the AMOG in. For me, in those classes I'm really close with the teacher, joke with her, etc. I make the classes interesting by getting the class off track sometimes, but other times I contribute to the class discussion and spark debates with people. The key in classroom dominance is to always have an opinion and share it. Half the time be serious, have the time fuck around with everyone including the teacher. You don't have to directly game any ONE girl in the class, think of classroom game as gaming the entire class. This shows everyone that you're in charge and fun to be around. How to become this is the classes that you are quiet in is simply this - don't fall into a routine of not talking early. Start off simple by participating a lot in class discussion if it is a serious, academic focused class. By simply speaking, you become more approachable. If its a glass that goofs off a lot, join in the fun. unlike the poster above me, I wouldn't directly open a girl in class, but treat the entire class as if your opening it. Then after class you can casually approach the girl talking about either how absurd/what a mess that class is, or if you believe it how much you like it...blah blah then your onto your regular game.

yeah thats a good idea, treat the entire class as if i'm opening it.
i really think i just need to make more friends in the class to get more comfortable around everyone.
for some reason, i get quiet when i'm around people i don't know, i hate it.

i know what you mean, but you gotta take a leap of faith with me on this one - people like meeting new people. get introduced, use a situational candid opener, after building momentum in the class take that outside of class when you get out. that will get you meeting more people, and thus being more social/outgoing in class.

thanks I appreciate the advice.
another thing: i'm having a problem meeting new people, and finding things to do after school. i'm a really chill guy, i know i look good, etc etc, i don't get invited to chill often, probably mainly cause i don't know many people. can you give me advice on how i can approach a girl @ school? i've been lurking the forums for a while, but i just can't put the stuff i read into action.

do you have a group of friends? like a small/medium crew of anywhere from 3-10 close friends? if you already have one, your set. something that I started at my school with my small crew of 5 of my best bros was poker. last year we were just chilling in the student center during a lunch/free period that tons of groups of people had and were crowding the building. sooo i decided that playing some poker would be a fun way to pass time and make some money...little did I know that I would be expanding my social circle significantly. people walking by saw us playing, being loud, laughing, chilling looking like a good time, and joined. By the end of the week, after friday last period got out (usually people are GONE ASAP on fridays haha) about 15-20 kids who I met just that week via poker stayed around and we played and chilled for about an hour, all the while cracking jokes and getting invited to a party that night (which led to a solid HB 8 kclose).
Point of the story? start poker games. No. Just kidding haha. start something fun with your friends that other people will want to join. Once you get the ball rolling, you will attract guys, girls, and a super fun lifestyle. high school is unlike any other place in that status is gained and lost in a matter of minutes. its all about - who's having fun NOW? be enviable, and bring people together. give value, and you will get value.
now, if you don't already have that solid small crew, I would not reccomend that you "cold approach." I would, however, encourage you to join activities, clubs, sports teams (especially sports teams....on any team, regardless of level, you automatically have about 15 new best friends), etc to make friends. make friends through friends, experiences, clubs, etc. Don't just cold approach in high school.
hope this helps.

my school doesn't have any sports team, unforchunate.
also, i'm trying to look like an alpha male, like i have shit going, i think going to an after school club would make me desperate, cause its all shit like stage design, chess, dance, etc.
yeah, i have about 3-4 friends that i can hang out with during lunch and shit, but there really isn't anything we could do to attract a shit ton of attention, we just chill and talk really...

then change what you do...host a party, make a scene wherever kids at your school hang out. be loud, make everyone look over. for example...arm wrestling matches, a super load, stupid debate over something worthless that requires big physical demonstrations with loud yelling...for example my friends and i were in a debate because my buddy said that its more likely that you survive with a knife from 21 feet away than a gun if somebody with a gun is running at you....got heated, all in good fun, to the point where we went outside of our group and included tons of people in this retarded argument. point is, be loud, be noticeable. if you come up with an exsuse as to why you can't do that, then your at the wrong place.

I disagree with the idea that joining clubs will make you look desperate. I would't advise joining chess club, unless you know what the hell u are doing.
Join clubs. Its a meeting ground for people who share the same interests. People are much easier to talk to because an instant rapport is generated.
go to that dance club meeting, or w/e other clubs you may find interesting.

Definitely join a club. If you don't like it, you can always quit. Personally, I'd suggest Dancing. It's pretty fun and a huge DHV.

yeah clubs at my school are great for meeting people...and its easy to know who will be there based off of who leads them. i am in community service club which is actually great for meeting chicks specifically...last year i had a time slot every tuesday where me and a hb 7.5 i was gaming would go to the animal shelter...easy gaming there and i ended up hooking up w/ her for a little while last year. also...when you become a junior or senior, you can lead clubs, and obviously this is a good dhv.
