So my school might cut my ap German for next year. Thing is, if I want to continue taking it, the only option the school has seriously considered is that I go to the rival school across town for half a day and switch back during lunch. I want to take this class, since it will help me with scholarships and getting accepted into the college I want. Is this a great opportunity to expand my social circle, or is it going to separate me too much from my current school? Also, I'm scheduled to take four ap classes: physics (yr), calculus (yr), German (yr), and government/music theory (sem ea). Is this too much? I'm only doing those for the same reasons as I listed above, but will it take too much time since I'm also doing footbal and band, plus the time needed to have a social life? I hate being smart lol

I think taking AP German and some other classes in another school would be pretty cool. If you think having AP German would be beneficial, than go for it. Take into consideration that it might simply be hard on yourself as it could be pretty stressful switching back and forth every day. I'd personally suggest it. That many AP classes might be pretty tough. I think I'm taking 4 credits, too, but I'm not taking any extracurriculars. I can't really tell you what to take but if your having fun than keep it up... Just plan on a lack of sleep

So it wouldn't affect me in my current school since I'm only there for half a day?

I think doing the double school thing would be sweet. Give you a chance to expand your social circle like crazy since you'll be socializing with two different schools. I'd go for it.

If your gona take the ap test, for german it will help, otherwise its a waste of your time don't see how taking ap german will really help your chances with scholarships? Honestly for me the less tough classes the better like you I'm taking ap and college classes in high school, it will actually hurt your social life because you'll have so much homework and not enough time for friends
