A lot of people, when they first get into the idea of being a leader think that leading is all about ordering people around and contolling others. That might be what it looks like but thats NOT what it is.
Being a true leader is about finding other people potential and HELPING them to maximize that potential. If you can do this, people WILL follow you because they will totally respect you. Obviously, when it comes to pick-up, ordering people around will make you look more Alpha... but just remember this isn't what leading is all about, this is a symptom of leading.

I think theres a differnce between being alpha and being AMOG. Being AMOG would be ordering people around.

Well, the AMOG is essentially the alpha. He just also controls the group, leading them on exciting adventures of fun.
