DISCLAIMER: dont get your egos and morals wrapped up in this, this is merely a discussion over the idea of girls and helping them with confidence, its not just dating. I'm not insulting or jumping on anyones idea, I'm just trying to get a well thought discussion going.

ahh I see we have some misconceptions. It can seem like I was drawing a comparison between low confidence and emotionally damaged when I was talking about screening. ITs the opener, meeting a person and gauging them. Ive seen emotionally fucked up girls, and they can have confidence, but we are all here for a limited time, be careful what you tie yourself down to.

now heres where it gets a wee bit confusing.

Everyone agrees with the idea that having a GF means you need to be emotionally supportive, I dont think anyone posted against that.

I shifted the discussion to girls in general because there are so many low self esteem girls out there, it kind of sucks.

now the topic of discussion is perfection, apparently. Theres a fine line between lowering your standards and being realistic. My friend lowers his standards and as such gets rather shitty girls, I am realistic and know there are plenty of fish in the sea, and even if my girl isnt perfect, shes not fucking crazy. A few people have told me I shouldnt worry about a girls imperfections and just go with it and in a few months the specific imperfections fuck everything up, or are signs of shit thats about to go down.

Finally GTFO with your morals. I want you to reread my posts, or even taxmans, and you'll see we never said anything that was related to being an asshole, or that we fuck them and leave them, I love women sooo much, and the thought of hurting them is disgusting to me. I'm allowed to play a semi-devils advocate to get a thoughtful discussion going. Fiiinnnally, being a PUA means that you can be like a hot girl and discriminate a little, it doesnt mean you get to be a complete asshole, it just means dont be your avg guy and latch onto the first piece of trim that opens up for you,

Ok guys i have had the experience being a girl's personal therapist and let me tell you its not fun. Do what you can but don't waste too much time. Remember girls are not guys some of them like being victims wether for attention or an excuse to act like a baby.

This girl i knew had depression but she used it as an excuse to act childish. She would do things that was so socially unacceptable and just say 'i have deppression' and the afc's will feel sorry for her like deppresion was a deathly disease that you cannot live with.

Moral of the story is some girls like their problems even if they don't know it themselves

Yeah obviously if your in a relationship you have to look after her .. We all know that a woman's reality is defined by external things like looking good and keeping in shape like amarok said, soo unless she's getting compliments from her friends/fam and getting approached left right and center then what can you really do to give her confidence ? Not much, its intangible and really is not our job its not even about "being an ass" if she's got confidence cool if she doesn't its cool

Your peace of mind is in turmoil, this is why you have trouble overcoming the low self-esteem. You know, deep down you are equally important and other people walking in the Earth's special, but to bring the outer surface of the seemingly difficult.

"Its not just fucking, its not just talking." So true, but so many guys think its one or the other. My two cents is that as many use as their motto (especially pua's but even in general) you want to leave them better than you found them. And that's something that can be a misconception, because there is so much about being like "that dress is really cute" and stuff that they got to MAKE THEM CUTER, not something that they naturally are. I just think that a way to truly boost their confidence is something like "I love the way your lip almost twitches right when were about to kiss." Just think about when someone compliments you. Wouldn't you prefer for it to be something that's YOU rather than something someone MADE or CAME UP WITH to give you? Like if someone says "I really like that shirt" vs. "your eyes are almost magical" or "I love how you say ___ its cute " you know? Maybe you guys already said all this, i got a little impatient reading it all because of studying for finals etc. So if this is totally off, or already covered, my apologies.
