They're so fucking annoying! How the hell do you guys do it?

I've been reading so many FR's of crazy nights of debauchery that look like shit loads of fun, chilling at a friends house with nobody home till 4am the next day, etc.

But my parents are controlling as hell. They're super christian and conservative, and we all grew up in the country (we live in the suburbs now) so they believe it's their duty TO THE LAWD ALMIGHTY, AMEN to raise their kids as good little church children.

Hence the reason my 3 siblings are home-schooled and being fed Bible stories and crap...well anyway, I didn't turn out that way obviously, I've already told my parents I'm agnostic and I don't agree with the majority of their values.



But the problem is they fucking hate the fact that I reject their holy ideologies, and ever since they found condoms in my room and I was straight with them about having sex, they have totally used it against me. They've always been controlling but it got real bad. I couldn't even go to a friend's house without them having to meet the parents first; the only way I got laid was by lying to them a lot. It got so bad that I snuck out one time without regards to what they would do to me cuz i just didn't give a fuck.........
Well they just almost called the police and the school; the only reason I complied was because I realized they were fucking crazy and didn't want to risk being taken by social services and put in a foster home.

I only have a year left till I'm 18, so I thought i might just wait it out and then GTFO of maryland, but I also want to enjoy the tail end of my high school career.

I've tried reasoning with them and being their bitch - I stayed perfectly good for 7 months to see if they'd calm down, but the other day I asked to chill at my female friend's house and they asked for her parents' phone number (who they already know as family friends) to make sure they'd be home. Bullllllll fucking shit.

So what do you guys do when your parents start stepping in and thinking they're protecting you?

I don't know where i got this from but a person on the forum posted a similar thing. It ended up with him telling his parents he'll have sex wether they liked it or not. They said they'd take his door away. he said ill have sex wether i have a door or not. his parents called his bluff except he wasn't bluffing. He soon got his door back and the right to have sex

I've tried just straight up telling them that I'm going to do what I want, but after I snuck out that one time, they told me if i ever go anywhere without them knowing again then they'll call the police and file a missing child report or something like that. Bruh...i feel you. My parents the same way(includin all that callin parents bs). My dad's a preacher - which i dont mind cus I'm Christian too - but both my parents are strict as HELLLL. I'm not for that rebellin shit though. I sneak behind them and do the best I can. Like they let me go to my school sports events n public places like bowlin or what not, then leave n beat my parents back - and I'll skip school a few times. I got my driver's license last week so I'm hopin that's my hall pass.

Well to be honest letting them find condoms in your room was a BIG mistake, also mabey you should not have snuck out, it seems like that has made the situation alot worse then if you were sneaky about it.

Also try not to hate your parents, I know it's hard sometimes (it definatly is for me, but they are your parents and you will regret hating them so much

i feel the same way, my parents are strict and call other parents when im sleeping over or whatever. If you gotta sneak out or whatever you gotta do what you gotta do. I've snuck out a couple times.

I'm sure my parents and I'll bet along better when I move out and we don't have to deal with each other

Honestly, just keep up what you're doing. If you haven't tried a mature talk, than go for that but chances are you already have. Just be persistent and hope for the best. Once you turn 18 life will be gold.

You may be able to join some extracurricular event at school that allows you to be social but idk. Check in to it.

I was in your same situation for the longest time bruh. Living at home with only a single, VERY high strung mom was the worst. My middle school and underclassmen years sucked. She denied so many social outings, which I partly attribute to some problems that I had. With your license comes a lot more leeway.

With parents like that, you can't really do much except go behind their backs. Don't even feel guilty (within reason) because it's their fault that you were forced to sneak around.

My advice is:

1. if you do something very responsible, SUBTLY make sure your parents know you did it. you want to have them see you as a responsible person

2. lie, lie, lie

3. don't get caught

hopefully lying will work better for you than me. my mom periodically drug tested me, interrogated me, and used to request to speak with all the parents of any social outing.

Guess who's moving out in a week? Me. Gonna go live with dad, and enjoy life while still being productive and responsible.

Be rebellious within reason, and keep other aspects of your life up (like grades) while doing so. If you get caught, show that you can go see Cindy Firecrotch AND ace algebra.

Bolt, you got a good point about being careful what I say to them. But my rents are the types that get sad with a well-placed manipulative emotional comment instead of just angry. Plus I've been a pussy most of my life when it comes to my parents, and I haven't really let them have a full piece of my mind yet so I think when I do they'll be more dumbfounded and taken aback than just frustrated about my typical adolescent rebelliousness (because I act mature around them instead of just venting my teenage angst lol)




As for extracurriculars I just started volunteering for unified track (coaching the retarded kids) and one of the non-retard girls there is a hot ass freshman who's mutual friends with my female friend on the team we'll see where that goes...


And Zing I know lmao, you would think that maintaining mostly B's in a killer academics program that gets a rep for having kids with no social lives, would help me convince my parents that I'm set. But nooope




Anyways today I asked to go chill at my guy friend's house after unified, and my mom just asked what time I'd be home and let me go. Sweeet! They're being a lot more lax ever since I got my license. But thanks for the advice still guys, I might have to use it if they start being gay again when I ask to go to a girl's house without her parents home. I can probably just lie then, or have an extremely frank talk about sex. First I need to find a girl to fuck....that's a separate issue........

anyway one thing I found with my parents, since I grew up around adults and deal with them maturely, when they start to get irrational and yelling I just calmly say

Fuck yes. Literally I sometimes just walk out of my house get in my car and drive away. My mom hasn't been mad at me for a Gil now haha. She tells me how she was wrong etc and has really chilled.
