I've seen a "thank" button where it posts the names of who thanked you right under the sig and counts how many thanks you got for that specific post. It's definitely possible. But why have the exalt/smite, then?

Another forum I belong to actuall just got this feature on zetaboards, so it should be at least possible. It works great on their!
