Being able to say that what you're wearing is currently the height of fashion in England will surely score some points with chicks. For all of those who want to mix it up a bit and break the mould, heres whats in fashion atm in the UK
Denim/Chambray workshirts, usually skinny fit:

American Apparel F497 (I know these are often associated with hipsters in America, but in the UK no-one even knows the word Hipster, lucky us ) tying the strings is considered cool here:

I also rock the Fred Perry polo shirts, slim fit, fully buttoned, these are less common but I like to rep the classic British Mod style:
