That's what I want, I guess you could say I have one-itis but I really like this girl and I used to be good friends with her. I do my best to apply the skills I've learned from pick-up to attract her.

You guys miss the point. You're talking about the value of love, but that is the entire point of pick-up. At some point the game has to stop, when it does, building a real relationship can begin. The game isn't an alternative, it's a way to build a solid foundation. From there you can get to know her and it might be more, or it might not, but pick-up gives you the tools you need to find out.
