If you have learned from David DeAngelo, you have more than likely heard of his technique called "two steps forward, one step back." This is usually a technique for getting physical with a woman and amplifying her arousal. You can also apply this technique at the verbal level.
My favorite way to apply it is on the uprise of rapport. This is a great way to maintain attraction during the comfort stage and it really does amplify attraction that is already present. However, to use it affectively, you MUST already have her attracted to you. Remember I said it amplifies present attraction. So here it is:
When you have transitioned into rapport and you can feel that your rapport and connection between eachother is rising, takeaway and go talk to someone else for a few minutes. This creates a "void" and she REALLY wants your rapport now. It amplifies her attraction AND her desire to connect with you. Then go back to her and create even more rapport so it continues to rise, then takeaway again.
This is actually two basic techniques. It is a form of push/pull called revealing and concealing and it's something called "dwindling abundance," which is when someone has an abundance of something (my rapport) and it dwindles down to a scarcity, they value more than ever.
So try this out when your connection and rapport is on the uprise. When you takeaway, you will see her occasionally glance over at you wanting you to come talk with her.
