OBSESSIVE IS A NO NO. BRANCH OUT AND BE THAT GUY. THE INTERESTING GUY.
Guys at some point I went through it and you probably went through it too. I remember the day I first found out about pickup. I was as excited as a motherfucker. I was so happy that I finally would be able to get girls so easily in the bedroom. I read all I could on this website from when I got home from school until I almost passed out from exhaustion. Pickup and more pickup was ingrained in my mind. It even prevented me from living my normal life and socializing with others. That mixed in with a bit of OCD mixed in was a living hell. I even had an anxiety attack at one point because I was so worried about trying to be the perfect social robot and ultimate womanizer. Boy was that messed up. So now after reading that you're probably like what the hell? It's a bit extreme but that's how I felt about it and it seemed like I was stuck with being miserable. But I found out the answer to all my problems and even the next step in improving my game as a whole was not far off. It was so simple but I was just not going into the whole thing open minded. That answer is BE DIVERSE.
I was so excited about pickup that I made it my number one priority and said forget about everything else. That's the biggest mistake you can make.
You need to balance this out just like anything else in your life. Say you don't have anything else better to do than read this all day. Well get your lazy ass up and learn, learn, and learn some more. It can be whatever you please. Remember you only live your life once. When you look back I'd rather see myself having a great time doing random shit I love then being able to say I spit my game exactly right and got a lot of pussy. So if you always have wanted to breakdance or become a master on the stripper pole (One of my personal favorites ;D) then do it. If you already have some hobbies like guitar or maybe dancing then please make time for them. Making time for other things helps in so many aspects with your game. The benefits are fantastic. First and foremost you aren't going to be so focused on pickup. That means you can learn at a slower pace and internalize things better. If you read a shitload one day you will most likely forget the majority. So therefore your day is wasted with reading and then forgetting it. It also make you an INTERESTING person. If you haven't heard or got the message yet being interesting is sexy as hell. You have lots of things going for you which is attractive, you stand out, you can entertain. You can make a lot more friends as well by really connecting with things you love. Hell worst comes to worst you have a few funny stories of the things you've done in your experiences.
So now that I've told my story and why you need to be interesting lets figure out why you actually would become obsessed with the pickup itself. Ask yourself the question why am I worrying about this shit? Some HB69 won't text you back even though you thought you had the perfect amount of push/pull, cocky funny, buttfucking awesomeness. At this point you're like what the fuck I must be doing something wrong. Have you ever had the thought instead of replying to your text she is sleeping or if you're lucky masturbating to the thought of you two covered in oil.
Pretty kinky to me. But anyways just chill out. Most naturals have no idea what the fuck a DHV would be. In fact they probably have sex with more girls than you and me. So stop worrying your head off about things. You will learn to do half of this stuff by PRACTICING what you learn. Then you will be thinking of more important things like where is the best place I can go to have the most fun with my friends and myself. So
So to summarize this piece of advice up. Please do yourself a favor and don't make this more important than other things in your life. Remember that balance is key. It keeps your emotions in check without worrying your head off and puts you in a better mood. Better mood equals more fun which equals women mauling you! I hope you learned a lot and this helps in developing that oh so attractive not give a fuck attitude. It WILL take time and a lot of hard work if you really want to change.
