Alright, so I have been promising to post this guide and many others for a while especially a Texting Guide because I want to do something special for my 100 post milestone. I have finally gotten tired of being lazy and I plan on writing more than just this article today so look out! Alright now let's get back to the topic.
The Initial Text Message.
I have read countless articles of guys saying cheesy pick up lines which may work but most seem just stupid and they come off as trying to hard. I will provide some examples of just texts I will send to initiate a conversation. But first I want to tell you to just be original. Yeah there are times a fun text can ignite a great conversation but don't spend too much time thinking about it because a simple "Hey ****" can do the trick. Don't over think texting it really isn't tough. Now as I promised, here are just a few examples of what I like.
I will just use random names to make it seem more realistic so for a simple conversation starter I prefer things like.... "Hey Hannah
" or just "Hannahhhh " Smiley's aren't a must but I just prefer them because it is way friendlier and no it doesn't come off as a wussy so stop worrying. You can also use things like "Hey beautiful" or other words (cutie, brat, sweetheart, darling, etc) Just don't be a dick because they really don't need to text you back if they don't want to.
I recommend coming up with a cute nickname for a girl because if it is a good one it will most likely make her smile when she reads it. So for one girl who has a higher pitched voice I call her squeaky so my text would be something like "What up Squeaky"
My best example for an initial text is a bit longer since I don't really care about length and it would go something like.
"I am looking for this girl who's about 5'1, she's a beautiful blonde with an amazing smile and I just love seeing her. You know where she's at?"
Now this is obviously describing the girl I am texting and when I have sent that I will change it up and sometimes add in their hobby or other things, play around with it. I have always gotten a great response from anything like this that I have sent.
Obviously there are plenty other great things you could start a conversation by saying but those are just a few examples, overall just try to start off a conversation with a positive vibe.
After she first responds.
Once again I see too many posts saying "only text a girl to set up a meeting" or "don't have conversations through texting". I completely disagree, especially if you and this girl have been hitting it off lately and you are thinking of going out with her. I text the girl I am talking to everyday for the past month basically and we talk all day basically. Now by saying that I don't mean it is a conversation 24/7 because I am extremely flirtatious but, I am trying to tell you that it's okay to like to talk to a girl.
Now for the conversations part you can really talk about whatever, my conversations are never boring. Even though me and the girl I am talking to talk ALL the time, the conversations aren't about school or news. I mostly flirt with her constantly and we will banter back and forth or I will ask a couple questions. I think the most important part of texting lies within being able to be quick with coming up with witty comebacks or just texts that will make her smile. I also disagree with posts saying "wait at LEAST 5 minutes before responding", if she texts you back right away then why should you make her wait? To play mind games? Dude, just text back before she forgets and leaves her phone on her bed while she goes and watches a movie downstairs or something. But with that in mind remember that even if you are texting back and forth quickly still live your life. A text can wait if your busy talking to someone or driving (I need to stop texting and driving). For example, I will show you a conversation I have had with Tara that I just found amusing since my iPhone saves all conversations word for word.
me: I'm so tired of your bratty attitude tara....
her: Imm not bratty..... u are
me: shut up with your lame comebacks....your so cute (she always to have some kind of comeback cause I tease her all the time and they all suck haha)
her: Thanks bratt
me: Haha your gonna get it woman. Just wait, when you least expect it
her: (: hehee
me: I'm gonna take you to the ground and smother you with kisses. It's scary just thinking about it
her: hehe shittt that is wicked scary
It's nothing special I just want to show how even with lame responses like " (: hehee" you can continue your last text with more detail and get a more positive response. Now, we will usually go back and forth and I tease her more than anything but I do it in person too so she knows I'm just playing.
Be yourself when texting
Obviously if you aren't too good at texting you will try to improve and that is fine. But, if you act a certain way when texting try to follow through with it in person. For example, say you are amazing and just blow a girls mind when you text but the next day when you see her she is excited and runs to you but you are shy so you just look at your feet and mumble "hello" back to her. As much as you text her and even if you get some really hot conversations or whatever, your chances of hooking up with her still rely on your social skills when your in person. But, on the good side, if you become great at texting girls you will not only drastically increase your chances of getting more girls and hookups but also your confidence should skyrocket.
Girls who don't text back or take too long
Fuck it, honestly that is the best advice I can give you. There have been multiple times were a girl wouldn't text me back and I would just be thinking "who does this bitch think she is". Now of course if it's someone you never talk to then it is more reasonable but I am talking about a girl you text regularly. Either way you have to consider things like is she working, maybe her phones off or dead (usually never off but you don't know), and even if she didn't text you back, SO WHAT. It isn't the end of the world, don't think you need to change your style of initiating a conversation because she didn't text you back. It is ONE girl. If she takes forever to respond you need to take into consider the same circumstances. If a girl does take super long though i will take a while to text back sometimes but usually girls will apologize and say like "sorry i was working" or something of that nature.
Dirty Pictures and such.
This was a post I had on another thread where a kid asked about getting dirty photos so I figured since some guys like to try their luck here is my post. I haven't done this in a while but this is my advice.
Alright since a lot of people are willing to help I will throw in my 2 cents of what I did. Me and my friends would see who could get the most and shit for the week or we would do them just to get them for the hell of it. I say we because we all mostly did the same thing. But usually we'd just start off by saying something flirty such as "im bored right now, entertain me" and we would end up saying how you think they are beautiful and then something like "you looked so good in those pants today" and just kinda talk about her body then the usual "are you alone right now?" leading to the question to her of will she send you a picture and you have to assure her it wont be spread. even though my email is a collaboration of pics me and my friends have gotten so actually i think i have a lot more than 30. Since your going for pics, if you get her really horny then you might be able to get a video. Thats what I would do with a few girls. And they dont have to be naked pics at first you might want her to get comfortable with the idea of just a thong or something. Also, some girls will want a pic in return which I was fine with sending if you trust them but its your choice, it just adds to their security that theirs wont get sent and plus you two now have more of a connection and she might be willing to take more another time or send you that video. That's my advice, just be careful its better not to tell anyone cause she wont.
Flirting
Alright so this is where a lot of guys struggle, flirting and keeping it fun. The saying "keep it short and simple" is true but if I have something I find funny or know it will make the girl smile then I will say it, so what if it has 3 sentences? It still gets a great response. You want to aim to send a text that will make her smile or giggle or at least lead up to a fun flirty conversation. Even just playing with her by saying something like "I don't know if I have told you this but I hate you soooo much" which would probably be said in response to some bratty comment she made and then banter back and forth teasing her.
I can tell you right now that from the amount I have texted girls I have gone from having to take time thinking of responses to be able to start fun conversations without hesitating and being able to respond to lame texts like "" or "haha" and with practice and working on improving yourself you can too. Become the best you can be and become a natural not some "pua afc".
Grammar and Punctuation
I can not stress this enough. Please drop the slang, it just sounds immature. It is a lot easier for me with the iPhone to add punctuation and capitalization manually but still, try your best. Talking in such language can be extremely confusing and can give a girl the wrong idea if one of your dumbass acronyms gets taken the wrong way. I think smileys are fine whether you do or =) it doesn't make a difference in my eyes. The only ones I use are 
( :* ) and occasionally 
or 
. I can't really think of any others because some are just too confusing. Also, I like to try and use a decent vernacular (vocabulary...) for my texts so I sound somewhat intelligent in my bantering sessions. Don't go overboard trying to be the fricken Ken Jennings of texting. Just make yourself seem a little smart at least. Basically talk like you would and write your text as it were an assignment written to your teacher, with that being said you can still abbreviate some things but I mean words like Fri. or bro and words like that. Keep it classy
The Grand Finale
Alright so I wasn't sure if I should add this section but since it was asked about I figured I would throw it in. Anyways, when I feel the conversation should end because it is either getting boring or I am going to bed I will end it in different ways depending on how the conversation has gone. If there was an argument or something I usually just won't text back. If I am going to the gym I will just usually say "Alright cutie (or other nickname) I'm heading to the gym so I will probably text you when I am done" or occasionally I'll switch the end to ".... text you in like 3-4 hours" it just basically has an underlying message that I am getting big at the gym. If I am just not in the mood to text I won't answer or I'll leave her with "I am actually pretty busy right now so I will talk to you later". Since I am usually texting till I fall asleep almost all my conversations with normal girls I am flirting with will just be "Alright sweetheart I'm exhausted so imma go to bed, goodnighttt :*" but if it's a girl I am "talking" to then it'll just usually say like "I'm going to bed so I'll talk to you tomorrow, night baby :*" just cause it seems a little sweeter in my opinion. But I usually like to add some form of smiley at the end to leave off on a good note. If I feel like joking around I will use a line like "alright I'm goin to play some basketball at the courts so try not to miss me too much ". Just don't be a dick and leave her with a negative thought of you.
