I guess this has to do with with fitness cuz it kinda has to do with basketball. Anyway....
So today was day 3 of basketball try outs and it was the final cut. After the try out was over, coach had us wait outside his office one by one to let us know if we made it or not. So as I was waiting, i felt anticipation. Then when it was my turn to be told, i felt certaintly because i figure, ive been on the team for the past two years so im gonna make it.
"This is the hardest part of a coach's job, Chris," the coach told me and i immediately felt fear of loss. He cut me and i was pretty much shocked. As i walked out of the school, I felt relieved because honestly, 3 months of basketball with three hour practices every day didnt sound too good.
As I started driving home, I thought of this kid who DID make it and got angry the jealous because he made it and he didnt even go to the first day of try outs and was late today. Suddenly, I thought of this girl and remembered pick-up. I got super excited because now i would have more time for pick up!
Wow im not even gonna count all those different types of emotions, this all happened in 5 minutes lol!

Don't know how you expect me to respond, but with a little tweaking this could be a beautiful comfort-building, willingness-to-emote routine.
And sorry about basketball.

Nah dude im actually kind of relieved i didnt make it. The main reason i was gonna play is cuz my parents would bitch at me if i didnt try out

Dude everyone knows you feel. You start getting ambivalent feelings and you try to convince yourself that it'll be fine. My new way to approaching things like this: The facts won't get any better just because I feel sad or mad, so why not feel great and just accept the fact?
