Hey guys. Negative vibes today. My bike was stolen off of the rack. Not much I can do about it. Kind of pissed because I have class early tomorrow across campus. To be honest, college is tough. You are the only one who has to keep track of your homework and shit. If you can't grasp independence, then you're fucked. When I look at some of the people here, on campus, in classes or even folks on my floor of the dorms, I know they won't make it past the first semester. I also see that independence and getting your shit done is important. If you're a needy child, you'll eventually lose yourself in the inertia of the work which will afflict your social life. Girls don't like a little brother figure who annoys them with cute widdle sayings. They want a man. Deep post. Comment bitches.

This is trueeeeee.
Jester just out of curiosity how much did your rents provide for you? Like money wise and all that shit, and how well do you think you're prepared for being independent for college
I always thought I'd just slip right in no problem, because I want nothing more than to live on my own, out of the grip of my parents, but idk maybe it's not that easy.

they provided at least half of the money. I had a scholarship and student loan. I think I'll be fine in college. Maybe I'll grow up haha. it's interesting. Don't let the freedom engulf you. sometimes, you have to hold onto something. and you're not going to be completely independent of your parents. Financially, they are going support you as much as they can.

Grats on starting college guy!!..This goes out to all of you fresh meat as well.
My advice to you all is to 1.START HOMEWORK THE DAY ITS ASSIGNED..this sounds nerdy as fuckk but I'm telling you guys this shit stacks up faster than a fat boy's lunch order..it's crzy and it blows my mind. Uncomplete or not even turned in assignments is the #1 reason most people faill or drop classes IMO.
Most college classes are designed so that that homework grade either gives you a little oomph when needing an extra letter grade at the end anddd they're meant to give an EXACTT refresher of the day's course.
2.Say Hi to EVRYBODY!! I mean EVERYONE. You don't have to stop and introduce yourself, but that will naturally happen WAYYY more than you would have expected...I can't list the many benefits this has but you should already have an idea, so DO IT!!!! BOTHH GUYS AND GIRLS!!!. Just a simple smile and Hi!!!!!
Do your homework bros
