Haha, I just wanted to introduce myself. I'm a senior in highschool and I have been learning about inner game and PUA material for a long time now (even though I know that inner game, confidence and being natural in front of the ladies are what you need and not canned openers and rehearsed routines, I still found many PUA techniques interesting just to learn about).
Ever since I discovered PUA materials, I've made vast improvements; from being a shy, awkward freshman who LITERALLY got lightheaded when trying to talk to a HB (or even contemplating talking to one) to a bold, confident guy who just goes up to giant sets, says "hey, I want to meet you chicks" and work every girl in the group because I have a natural talent for being funny and being the leader of a group that I enter (truly a gift). Just last week, I helped my school with the New Student days (so I could not only make new friends but also meet all the new girls) and within 48 hours, I had quite a few facebook invites with the occasional "hey, remember me
" post on my wall (although I get that even just the effort of finding and friending me on facebook is an IOI). So, I know I'm doing something right so far. I hope to be a help to some newbies here as well as learn how to fix what I'm still doing wrong.
As for any immediate advice I can give struggling guys: be yourself. I've always had a good sense of humor, especially when it comes to making girls laugh, but my fear of super hot girls and rejection by them always stifled my ability to make them laugh. I'd always say "hey", freeze, panic, and that was the end of my conversation. Now that I've focused on inner game and attaining the critically-needed confidence, I have been able to be my humorous, genuinely easy-going self which has made my game a billion times easier.
