Due to alot of the facepalm-inducing newbie threads that have been flooding this forum as of late, I would like to reitirate an important message.

Contrary to popular belief, reading this forum and other PUA shit 7 hours a day will in fact not get you laid. We can't tell you a magic routine for you to use that will work 100% of the time, all the time, on every girl. Truth is, the only way you will ever learn is by growing a pair and putting yourself out there. In order to succeed you will have to fail, miserably. The more you fail, the more you will succeed. Is being rejected awkward? Depressing? Embarrassing?

Dude it's cliched but true. Once you actually have the balls to go and approach girls regularly, not fear rejection, etc etc, that's when your success will skyrocket. Reading things will only help so much.
Are you getting laid? I severely doubt it. Are those, who are trying to help you, getting laid? Hell yes. Therefore don't come and bash a guy with more experience and knowledge, especially when he's right

Parkwhore is right, there's MAYBE 1 hour of meaningful reading that will help you out as a beginner. The rest just fucks over your mind set. The only reason people read so much is they do not have confidence in themselves and need a "magical" technique to give them confidence.

Of course not. But the thing is, most of the people on this site ARE complete losers. And thus, very basic but essential advice like this is absolutely helpful for the virgin geek newbies. So while it might not help YOU because you're a little more advanced than that, noobs will benefit immensely. Just take a look in the specific help forum and count how many threads go something along the lines of "so I tried to get this girl, I used mystery's classic "beauty is common" gambit and waited for the 3 IOI's, went in for the k-close but she rejected me WTF DID IDOWRONG???!!1". There's a lot of them. That's why we need new guys to see this type of thing, and parkwhore did a good job articulating it.

look guys, we have this debate a lot.

fact is rejection will teach you more than any book, if you were to read nothing and just keep approaching you'd learn much faster BUT, you'd probably hit a barrier where you had about 1 success every 10 attempts, which sucks. (depending on whether you can actually talk to girls or if your a bit of a queef)
So you do need material. Basically going up and approaching is like having the courage to join the army, and the material is your ammunition. You can join the army, but without ammunition you are probably going to get shot down.

So you're both right, there was no need to shit on parkwhore, he's right. We can't supply a magic formula, but action can.
