How many guys on this forum play Water Polo? I do, DanZy does, I am guessing parkwhore does as well (avatar). Who Else?

I watched it before and that shit looks extremely hard. I can hardly even tread in the water for a minute without getting tired (and I'm in shape).

Never played it looks pretty intense though. Wouldn't their be a shitload of dirty plays because the ref couldnt see underwater?

I've gotten my nuts kicked numerous times while playing water polo in gym class... wonder how it is in professional water-polo?

I'd say most injuries happen above water because its hard to kick as hard underwater but there is definately arm holding, dunking, ankle grabbing, knocking the wind out of people, etc as far as underwater goes. People do get straight up clocked sometimes above water, I broke a kids jaw on "accident" once and I've also seen someone poke both my teammate's eyes hella hard on purpose to the point of bleeding. Shit happens, it's part of the game (not to say you should hit someone for no reason).

I generally hit guys if they hit me first. My speciality: kidney shots. Playing hole marker means I have the guys back to me a lot, one hand on his shoulder, the other smashes into his back stops elbows being thrown at you
