watch the movie never give up, or the first rocky movie. get yourself a sick motivation playlist, and a friend to help you out when you pussy out of a workout day.

ONLY TWO MONTHS dude you won't get anywhere with that. The first 2 months are the hardest (ive heard) but thats cause you don't see any change. Dude working out is long term.

For me ... I've stoped lifting the past few months because of gym membership change etc. But... once you get in the routine.... everything goes for that hour and a half that your pumping iron. EVERYTHING. Because you know thinking about it wont help with gaining muscle. And even when you dont SEE results on your body. When you see that your weights are getting HEAVIER and HEAVIER and you feel yourself getting stronger. Man , thats nice. And when people need help, and your like "Oh, here I can do that." And then... after about two months , and you start to see your quads and pecks getting BIGGER and BIGGER. Then girls start to comment "your so muscular!" now that... at least for me... is where MY motivation comes from.

Going to the gym is not a 2 month thing.... It is a life style my friend. I gotta agree with jjunius9 once you start to notice results that will keep you motivated and you will want to go everyday. When I first started I was doing chest presses with the 40lb dumbells and now I can do the 80lb dumbells and my weights in every movement has changed by a lot and that's what keeps me motivated. But to get motivated to start working out since it seems like you have not hit the gym before, just think about that it will make your self more attractive and appealing to women that should be enough motivation right there!

Well i've been working out solid for 2 years now and all the motivation i get comes from how good i feel afterwards. Go hard at your work out and push yourself to the limit, you'll feel on top of the world afterwards.

well if you gonna lose weight then you are HARDLY gonna see any progression in only 2 months (i was on the cross country team at my school) anyway for motivation I just run with friends and I run routes not tredmills (i hate the things they boring as fuck)
Oh yeah and lifting does help lose weight

look, i was overweight this past march, like 180 pounds. But i started to realise i didnt like the way i looked, so i dropped nearly 30 pounds, but the problem with just doing cardio is you go from a fat person to a skinny fat person. You need to build muscle that will burn calories at all times, and fit your frame, and that took me like 6-7 months, and it will take you more than 2...
