I'm on fall break!
So it's the first time posting since the summer, and I'm rereading a lot of the stuff that I posted recently and a few random things around the site. But what I noticed most is the comments.
Some of you guys have commented some really nice stuff on a lot of my posts. And I don't mean nice as in awesome or cool or anything, but I mean genuinely nice.
When I'm writing an article, I have an idea, and then just start writing, and then it comes out on this site and I'm super proud of it. And then it kind of disappears into space. I don't know whose read it. I don't know whose listening. It's hard to keep perspective.
We all have days where we feel like nothing we've done matters. However, some of the stuff you guys have posted has really made me feel validated in what I've done here. Even something saying, "This inspired me" means that I've done good work. If my shitty words on a computer screen made some high school kid I don't even know can work up the balls to talk to a girl, then thats incredible to me.
If anything I've written has made an impact on you in any way, I'm just gonna say thank you. Not you're welcome, but thank you. Because that means that I'm validated I guess? I don't really know actually, but I feel like I should say thank you.

I miss writing. Sometimes in class my pen will just want to write stuff down on my piece of looseleaf. Except I don't really have anything to write for if I'm not writing for you guys.
I'm getting older now; I'm waaaay older than some of you. WAY too old to be regularly writing for a high school site. But I PROMISE that I'll come back and write stuff for you guys if I ever have something good that you'd like. I honed my skills here, I gotta give back.
Expect big things from me. Some of you guys will be able to tell people you knew me in high school .
Today is the oldest I've ever been, but also the youngest I'll ever be. Same goes for you.
Seacrest out.
