drinking alcohol is EXTREMELY social, and if you don't understand that then you're a fool.

Dude almost anything in life can be considered "psychologically addictive", yes in different amounts. But you cant say that if you go and smoke weed for the first time in a couple months you'll be stoned 24/7 and not have any money. I mean yeah, everyone knows a couple people who smoke everyday and who are psychologically addicted to it. But theres tons of guys who are "addicted" to shit like jacking off, internet porn, adrenalin rushes, etc etc. I mean really your making a big deal about nothing. My opinion is, we're adults, WE control what we put in our body, we should have the mental strenght to control our impulses, if you dont with a specific activity, you should try to avoid/push through it and move on. I mean, this isn't really related, but, i dont think the government should be able to tell us what we do or dont put in our bodies. Oh, and pot is definitely not nearly as addictive as amphetamines. Sorry man but if you say that your fucking crazy. I've done both-and if you look at the percentages of people who take those occasionally to those who are actually take those two substances on a daily basis amphetamines has a much higher percentage. It just seems like theres more pot addicted people cause SO FUCKING MANY people smoke. In addition, the psychological withdrawal and next day after amphetamines is soooo much more brutal. Also, correct me if i'm wrong, but i think you said the most brutal addiction/withdrawal is alchohol.... trust me, i've gone through opiate withdrawal, i had it pretty easy, and its not fun. I hope i dont see like i'm trolling. I'm just trying to give my input, which seems to just also happen to disagree with you lot. My advice only advice: Codeine is fun, hydros are fun--just dont do em alot. I agree with you about smoking though--and for the most part about how bad alcohol is for you. Did you know that drug-free america is sponsored by the alcohol and tobacco companies? my thoughts exactly. Weed is addictive in the same way as video games are "addictive", if you enjoy doing it your going to want to do it more. That really isn't saying much when you compare it to physically addictive drugs.

Mentally addictive is harder than physically addictive.
^Dude, what do you do? As in, do you literally just spend your free time finding pictures to try and fuck with me? I can't respect that.
I concede alcohol and weed are both social scene, but meth or heroin could be as well. It's just alcohol is well spread. That doesn't make it any healthier. Not COMPARED to anything, just in general alcohol is fucking brutal on your body.
I cited a study from England which was one of the best I looked at, according to it weed and amphetamine are similarly addictive. It is all personal though, as in, oxycodone did fuck all for me yet dextramorphan was amazing.
Cough syrup has never been researched. I mean robo, not syzurp. That shit is codeine tincture, it's crap.

The active ingredient in robo is dxm and I believe there is some research on it but not so much for the mind altering purpose because it really isn't worth it.

Ok look, I've tried cocaine before, I've tried weed and I drink. I am not proud of trying weed, I'm not proud of trying cocaine and to be perfectly honest I'm somewhat ashamed of the frequency that I drink (I honestly shouldn't at all). I have friends who have never tried drugs and I have friends that love to do drugs. 95% of the time the reasons people do drugs are EXTERNAL. I am guilty of this. It is acting inauthentically at its finest. Stop trying to impress people with how hardcore your drug usage is or trying to fit in. Now before you guys try and start flaming, I'm not saying all of you do it for external reasons but I'd be willing to bet theres been times that you have because of it. Honestly though, that shit is bad for you, alcohol included, but as long as you are willing to accept the consequences of your actions then by all means do whatever you want. Make informed decisions though, not stupid ones.

^ Really good post.
I'm not trying to tell you guys not too do drugs, I just wrote a write-up which points out all drugs are dangerous. Really, use whatever you want, just don't think alcohol is safe because it's legal or weed is good for you because everyone tokes.
Besides alcohol and paracetamol I'd say every drug has a use. Counting social uses alcohol does too.

Robo was kinda like alcohol except stronger euphoria and I got a body buss of it as well. Plus I felt really connected to everything, like everything was closer to me on this other plane which the eye can't register but which links all things. Might have been because I read Power of Now before hand though. There is research which shows a link between Dextramorphan and Olneys Lesions but it's the biggest drug farce since those weed studies the American goverment did. The study was wildly loaded with people with long-term histories of multiple drug abuse. Most were meth and/or heroin addicts.

You can't say that something is better than another thing, everyone experiences things differently plus there are so many variables.
For example, K. If you use a little K its one thing, if you use a lot it can be an out of body experience for some people while others will be right out of it and get noodle legs etc. If you use K while drinking, smoking weed or using another depressant it can be a really bad high.

Amphetamines are great while you are on them but unless your taking them prescribed for something like ADHD then they will just eat you from the inside out. Worst comedown ever, sleep deprivation, cold sweats...ugh They do help you perform better in school though.
