So I've been friends with this girl at my school for an extremely long time and we pretty much share everything with each other (and I mean EVERYTHING). Recently, she hinted to me that her little sister has never so much as kissed a guy before and kept telling me how amazing we'd be together. (btw... she's only a year younger than me. No big deal.) So I started talking to her and it came to my realization that she's horribly shy and uncomfortable around guys. So how do I go about making her more comfortable around me? I could always just let this one go, but I feel like I give up too much, and it's time to change that.

Lead. Everybody feels comfortable when the burden of leading is completly of their shoulders.

My guess is that a general lack of contact with guys has made her a bit secluded and shy, so, as well as the things others have suggested, making her feel comfortable simply talking with you is important. You don't have to talk about important stuff, any old crap, just so she used to talking about whatever she wants
that's my theory anyway
