Anyone know good jokes to tell a girl

Knock knock jokes don't cut it, stories are hard to remember(if they're long). I really need some pickup jokes to change awkward moments. Example:

HB: hey
me: hey
Hb: how's break
me: good u
hb: great, I got clothes and jewlery
me: ummmmm, great?
Hb: what's wrong with clothes?
Me: guys don't normally get siked about clothes
hb: I don't see why not
me: idk either, we just don't
hb:...........

Notice the silence at the end, I try to change the subject but it fails.

Biggest thing I ever learned was I used to try and be too cool, distant, and a loner. I became very monotone when interacting with people I didn't know. So it might work to get the girls attention that guy seems cool who is he? But when I wasn't any fun it ruined everything. Just try being more fun and naturally funny. When she says I got clothes and jewelry? Make a joke and you can be as crazy as "A nipple ring!?!" to as simple as "What did you get?"..."Really? I got the same thing."

also, ask open ended questions. Force them to say more than yes/no! Add meat to the conversation, and remember: Don't talk mindlessly if you have not yet learned to keep a convo going without your brain.

You're not vibing with her. its that simple. You can tease her for the stuff you got, kino on her by touching the jewlery, been plain polite, but you shouldn't have shut her down like that. Think about it. When you do something cool and you go to your friend and you tell him (for example) "WOA, dude I just made out with this HOT girl (or anything you'd be proud of acomplishing)" and he says "So? not a big deal"
you would go into a worse state and feel bad. instead if your friend had told you "nice, I bet she's in love with you now. Way to go playa " you would've felt good about yourself and he would have put you in a happier state.
In the second case you connect, or vibe, with that friend.

is one example that i use all the time,

Me- hold on say that again you were talking to fast(Grin-change subject)

but like they said you gotta ask the right questions, that wont get you shut out like that, and don't underestimate the power of a bad knock knock joke, you can always turn it around and tease them or vibe
