Confidence for AFC?

Hey guys. I'm new to the whole PUA community, and I'm in my sophomore year of high school. I'm black if it makes a difference. I'm actually pretty good looking, nice body, etc., but I have absolutely no confidence in trying to game a girl. I keep hearing things like "Go to her in the first 3 seconds of seeing her and chat her up," or something similar.

Normally I'm too shy and nervous and the voice in my head keeps saying, "You don't even know how to start a conversation with a guy. How do you expect to do it with a girl and not look like a creeper?" Sometimes I'm able to ignore it and go up and talk to her, but after I say "Hello" and then something like, "You might if I sit with you," I run out of things to say. Then making myself look awkward, making her uncomfortable, the voice in my head being right and telling me how nervous and stupid I sound, and lowers my confidence of ever trying it again.

I guess what I'm asking is, how do I boost my self-confidence through the roof so that I have no problems making a girl laugh and attracted to me? I would love as much advice as you can give me.

Never ask if it's okay if you sit with her. That's giving her the power. And what I recommend is go social circle gaming. Cold approaching is just creepy at high school. Get to know everyone by getting introduced by everyone. It's less creepy and then you have a friend in common

EDIT:
If you really have trouble striking up conversations, go to the mall and talk to the old people, they are always fun for a chat haha
But don't rush up, they'll think you're going to mug them haha jokes jokes <3

Alright, here's somethings I did:
-Make a girl bestfriend. Preferably the hottest one you can. She'll help you.
-Strike up conversations with ugly girls. I'm deadass.
-Talk to girls you've always thought of as friends.
-BELIEVE ME, THESE GIRLS WILL NOT THINK YOU'RE A CREEPER UNLESS YOU SAY WEIRD SHIT. Being nervous is fine, even cute. Just roll with it.
-If you can talk to any guy easily, then here's the best technique. Talk to them like they're a dude. Call them dude and bro if you want even. They'll think it's funny/cute/annoying so you have an easy topic.
