I need some help

Alright so some guys in my grade thought it would be funny to just start yelling my last name out in the middle of class in this high pitched annoying voice. My last name is Hubman. Now I've been trying to play if off by just laughing or ignoring it, but that seems pretty beta to me(is it?) Does it show that I just take their shit? What do you guys suggest I do because I just don't know how to react to it because its not really an insult I can turn around at them.

^ I disagree. Ignoring it can be the most alpha thing you can do. Ignoring is not a "bitch move".

However, what could be helpful is playing along with the game. When they do it, do it back! If you're popular or liked in this class then make it a more ridiculous voice than theirs, if not, just do the same back.

At the moment right now I'm middle ground with popularity. I could go either way with it. I've been trying to get in with the cool guys at my school by just talking with them but not coming on too hard. I not sure how mimicking them would go over,with everyone but I guess I could give it a shot.

Ignoring it IS a bitch move, especially when it's that blatantly obvious what they're doing. Don't do it back either, that's just not creative. Doing the same thing back is like using the same line back. Just don't do it. Plus, if they're already doing that shit with you, I'm sorry to say it, but I'm going to guess that the class doesn't really know you very well and you don't talk much in it or to a lot of people in it?

It IS an insult. Reply accordingly. The base of the problem though is that, guessing again, they probably don't respect you? If you get the class to really like you, they'll immediately stop. I'm making kind of big assumptions, but I'm just guessing you're not very popular and liked? Be more social and just have fun.

Its not that I'm not liked or anything like, no has a problem with me. People do respect me. its just that these guys are like bipolar with me. One day we could just be talking and chilling and the next day he's doing the name thing.

All of this is correct, but don't under any circumstances mimic them, as bolt said you just need to be comfortable with the classroom... make friends, do what you gotta do

I agree that ignoring it is a bitch move, but i disagree on your other point. I think the best thing to do is just do exactly what the kid is doing except with his last name instead. I don't think it's at all like using the same line as someone else, but it's rather saying hey look i can play this game too, get at me. guaranteed to shut him up, there's no way the kid is going to go back and forth on this.

Ok my last name is FAGan so kinda feel your pain usually i just dont really mention my last name cause it doesnt come up in normal conversation but if somebody asks me i just say it. If they laugh i look at them funny and ask why they are laughing if they point on the word Fag in my name I just say 'so...' looking at them as if im waiting for the punch line. This kinda makes them look like a tool

I dont react to negative shit, I'll laugh it off, but to be honest people dont make fun of me, Ive been called gay before, but I'm always jovial and alpha that people just dont give a shit.

Agreed Prodigy. people used to call me gay too. i wud just ignore it. thatguy iwouldnt let it bother you. ignore it. I found that when I started talking to more girls and getting in cool with people, if someone did something to annoy me, I would have people to stand up for me and tell them to grow up without me even saying anything. It's a huge DHV. but overall a great trait to have is unreactiveness. not only ignore what their doing, but act like you dont even know it is occuring or give the leader a look that says "really? you're that immature". they'll be wondering what the heck is going on and trust me girls will notice. they always notice how you react to things.
