So I've been trying to get into the DJ business and I was wondering if it's a good idea to DJ my senior prom. I mean I went this year (junior year) and it was ok, my date n I were a just friends kinda thing so I was free to mess around all night...but I thought it'd be a good idea and a major DHV if I'm the reason for everyone's good nite. Just thinking out loud I guess tell me what you guys think.

DJing is not something that you should really be doing for the purpose of DHVing. If you enjoy it then by all mean go on ahead; on the other hand, if you are just doing the whole DJ thing because it sounds cool theres a problem. Musical instruments (yes I consider DJing as something similar) should only be taken up if it something you really love, otherwise your going to quit within the first couple of months.

Oh no I'm interested in DJing because of the music, but I'm debating whether I'd have more fun at my senior prom while being out there dancing or DJing it...I wouldn't take up an instrument or anything drastic like that just for the purpose of PUA

you'd have more fun being at prom, but if you could split the night in two, dj at the start etc then it is a dhv if you're a good dj, so you gotta impress people otherwise it's not a good idea.
Really get people up for the night when you dj and you'll come off as someone who is a good time
