Ive seen people posting (not only on this site) that you shouldnt approach girls in HS as you would if you were outside HS cause people can label you as "creepy" or "weird".
Some say that it is cool if you approach people in HS cause then youre going to meet more people.
Now that am confident enough to approach people, id like to know if it isnt weird to run to a girl (go direct), get her number and leave.

Well I've never gone that direct at school but one time my ride and some of my friends were leaving a party to go to another and as I was leaving I saw this pretty cute girl. I walked up to her quickly, introduced myself, she introduced herself, told her my ride was leaving and handed her my phone saying she should put her number in it. Probably clocked in under 30 seconds so yeah going that direct can work well with some girls. In my experience being direct is much better than going indirect, but still you usually want to do some flirting before you get her number.

It's perfectly normal to go up to a girl and talk to her if you're confident. If you straight up ask her for her number right away, yeah that's a little weird. Just talk to her like any other new friend; tell her your name and talk to her. Then say something like "we need to talk more, gimme your number!" And your set.

what i really wanted to do is to train approaches to get the girls number, to be more social (improve my verbal game, although it is a small part of the equation  ) and to not be a pussy (wich i am) when it comes to approach. what i meant was that if people noticed me always talking to girls i dont know, would they think i was a stalker or a weird pickup guy? |

Just weird. I always hang around with almost all the groups at my school. Go ahead and approach everyone, but usually don't aim to close.
