Hey there, my name is Richard (or TaoTeRich).
I have never been really successful with women, as I kept on pussying out whenever I had to man up. I got frustrated by that and decided to change something about this. After seeing Mystery's show on VH1 (I learned nothing from the show btw...) I started to read about all the pickup related stuff. From Mystery over Real Social Dynamics to 60yearsofchallenge. So I have quite alot of information flying around in my head.
Like many other pseudo-PUA I keep believing that information is the key to success and not actually doing it, even though I know that's wrong...
This standpoint paired with my schizoid tendencies (a mental disorder which makes it very hard for you to commit to a relationship or even consider starting one/in general makes it very hard for you to show emotions) may open up ways for an all-new approach to pickup (the schizoid style).
I decided to do what a schizoid guy would never do. I committed to share my inner world and share my emotions, I committed to actually go out there and DO something rather than collect information.
I decided to do all this at the same time by blogging.
I can share my experience/feelings/thoughts, interact with other people and
maybe see my own schizoid approach to picking up girls grow.
With my friend Yuan (chinese guy; shy as fuck) I decided to blurt out whatever experiences we have and how we interpret and understand them.
At the beginning, we will go through specific terms of the pickup-community and theories. We will analyse them, give an introduction and criticize them. Also we share some field-reports, with which we'll do the same.
From time to time we will probably find what works for us best and will share and (atleast I) will try to build a "schizoid pickup approach" (it will probably include many psychological/spiritual/philosophical/blah stuff, maybe there are persons alike who can use this stuff).
We are still at a very early point of this "project".
