How to get in with the "popular" girls

So here is my question.
I'm trying to hook up and possibly set up some roots if not LTRs in the "popular" crowd. I've been trying half-heartedly for about 2 years. (I'm a junior in highschool). These are the girls that drink/party etc. and I think I don't come off as high enough value for their "fast" lifestyles , despite the fact that I follow all the commandments of basic DHV (Don't act needy, neg, etc.).

Any and all advice/suggestions are greatly appreciated and welcome!

I don't drink because I've had some really bad experiences with it lately haha.
I guess I try to party, but usually I just hang out 1 on 1, and close that way. My main problem is asserting AMOG character with all these guys around me who've got huge arms and play sports etc. etc.
I'm a bit of a nerd, I'm buff, but no where near "ripped" so in my mind, that seems to sort of lower me. Is it all just thinking or are there certain things I can do to assert my AMOGness?

There's not much anyone can tell you. Each "in" crowd is different. My "in" crowd was a bunch of dancers, for one.

Wisest thing to do is just open up one of them (in a way congruent to you), don't try to get laid (healthy flirting always encouraged), just network, keep up with this girl, then the ones you meet because of this girl.

OR

Make buds with the people throwing the parties. Show up to parties, drink if you want to (if you want to hang with these people, you might want to though....a non-drinker hanging around a bunch of drinkers is a no go).

You're not going to close on these girls until you show that you live in a similar reality.

I find that popular girls are more swayed by the crowd. They're not really stupid, but they do all of the social things like sporting events, etc. They also tend to be in the less smart classes, although there are some 7s and 8s in these classes that are very popular.

I noticed this because most of the popular girls I've never even seen before until I walk by them in the hallway, so I'd try to make some friends with guys who care less about school and more about partying, etc.

Popular girls are all an illusion. Freshman, sophomore, and junior year i was practically bowing before their beauty. Theyre ussually not even the hottest girls around for real. If your school is like mine, the popular crowd is one big ball of drama.

Find that group you have the most fun with and thats when you'll succeed because all you have to do is pull hot girls into your reality where they have a shit ton of fun with you and your friends.

girls are opposite to guys in what attracts them the most. us guys, we like an amazingly beautiful girl, and the personality can be lacking, but those double D's make up for it. But with girls, they love a great personality, someone that can make them laugh etc, and they'll let looks slip further down to get that from a guy. So you don't need to be worrying about the fact you're not a tank like them. Your chances are just as good.
I like what parkwhore said too though, that you should find a group you really like, have fun with them, and then hot girls will see that either you or your whole group is fun and want to join...although, this doesnt always happen in high school because people like to keep up appearances.
If you want to give in with the girls, you've got to get in with the girls first. For example, if your'e kinda in there with the girls, but the guys keep neggin you and trying to put you down, its a DLV for you, and girls won't always back you up because, well, theyre girls. BUT, if you're in with the guys before you are the girls, the girls will probably show an interest in you because the guys have, and they might even open you. dont rely on that though. but when you come to open them, it will be easier because you have the guys on your side, and they see you as one of them, rather than an outsider trying to steal their women.

If you rule the guys, you'll rule the girls. And fuck them.

playing a sport helps.
drinking helps, but if you don't want to then don't.
if you can drive, that helps. at least where i live.
if i said more i'd just be repeating everyone else
