New area, interesting event, what should I do?

So I changed schools, whole new area. Had school happens to be out, this sucks I didn't get to mingle with my soon to be peers for my senior year. So crap, kind of stuck at home, the only social asset I have is going to huge church youth group with like 150ish hs ppl that go weekly, and I'm currently searching for the wolves in sheeps clothing to hang out with. It kind of sucks because I like telling jokes and most of them are kinda twisted...
So I'm having trouble there. So while walking around apartments I see a couple guys in the parkinglot and one of them I had talked to briefly before. I decided that I was tired of being bored. I've said this joke before to start talking to a shady audience...
Fishie:"Sup dude, guess who is getting laid tonight?!? eh eh?" (total lie but it is something these kind of people can relate to, thats what I assume anyway)
Augy:"nice bra, I might be too, there is a party going on next weekend" (an opening to jump in, but I've been made fun of for jumping through loop like that as if I was a circus animal. Not how I was going to get street respect (throwing though's saints row terms around))
Fishie:"nice man, This girl is sexy man, nice boobs, naughty smile, not much of an ass. (if you have to lie, never advertise a fantasy) It gets even better, she's all hyped about tonight, she even want to suck my nose for gold. (I flare my nostrils)(this gets everyone talking...)
Intimidating black guy:"What the fuck, augy! your bra's a freak! hahaha"
Some latino girl with black guy:"augy, why aint you coming, and bring this crazy ass. (hahaha)
fishie:"well if it's big I'm down" (the moment my white ass starts trying to use street slang, I break character)
augy:"yeah sounds cool tank, I'll look into it. (thanks bra, I follow his lead at this point and do the hand shake thing thugs do, with everyone.)

Augy tells me that they were talking about a rave, lots of drugs and stuff. Sounds pretty shifty but it can be my break into a higher social group... It's kind of what I need seeing that I just moved to the area. Augy has good drive, energy that I need to rep what going on, however he hanging with a bad crowd, worth the risk? what do you guys think?

I'd go too. You don't have to get off your face on drugs though if you don't want to. People will respect you for that. If they give you shit, you could make some bullshit about that you're a recovering addict and have been clean for a few months or like an uncle died of an overdose, so you swore you wouldn't touch the stuff.
I don't like lying to guys like that, but if they hassle you over an over, it can get them off your back.
Just go. You got nothing better to do that jack off at home.

Go, even if you dont want these people to be your permanent friend group it doesn't matter. At the party have fun and meet new people, boys and girls. Hopefully Augys group will give you social proof, and introduce you to people. There's nothing at all to lose, and loads to gain. It's an oppurtunity for you, take it. Would you rather spend the rest of the summer having fun and sex, and then when you start school everyone will know you or would you rather jerk off twice a day and start school as some randomer no one will know.
