Right now, I'm attending a boy's school in Australia for its academic excellence. I'm in year 10 right now - two years away from the HSC (a huge test which everyone in the state takes part in, and it determines which Universities you can get into.) I'm aiming for a perfect ATAR, (the best score you can get.) Here comes the question.. Is it possible to be popular with minimal effort? I am devoting the majority of my time to lifting and studying. Note, I don't mean get into the popular group, because I dislike them as a group, I mean getting everyone to gravitate towards me, making me the center of the group I currently in. Would be awesome if you could help

If you want to be the center of the group youre in you lead. And no, you dont have to try hard. People who try hard end up looking stupid.

don't search for popularity, just be social go out once a week, it shouldn't hurt your grades and it should be enough for you to have fun

do what I do and go out on nights or do shit when you know that you dont have too do so much work the next day. Obviously it would be stupid too go out till fucking late and then not be able to do any studying or anything. So basically work out a balance between what you do. Like Parkwhore said, you dont have to try hard at all and especially not to hard.
