First Day of School

Sup fellas. School's just around the corner, and I've been thinking of ways to display my fun/funny personality to people on the first day. We all know this is the best time to establish ourselves.

Anyway, this is what I've come up with

~ use sign language to random people, then answer in words when the teacher calls me
~ get up and go 'Sir yes sir!' military style during PE or class
~ bow to the teacher when entering class
~ throw legs over desk like a king.

Any other suggestions? I usually introduce myself to people around me too, what do you guys do? Let's share.

Now to be fair these ideas in of themselves arent bad, someone with enough balls could get away with being a smart ass clown, but unless it is congruent with who you are it will fail so goddamn hard.

its about enjoying yourself as much as you can in such a shitty environment.

I've done the throwing my legs up on the desk before, but like RMO said, its fits my personality pretty well. Usually I just say something funny and introduce myself to people. Just be yourself, and if your actually funny, it'll come out.

How about instead of thinking of stupid ideas and then doing them later like a social robot... you just BRING your "fun" personality along with you so you don't have to worry about it. That's kind of how the rest of the world works.

Just be yourself. Be outgoing, always cheerful and maintain respectful decorum. Not just on the first day, but EVERYDAY.

It's like a paradox.
Let's take a typical nice guy in highschool.
Run of the mill stories about how he got crushed by women he loved.
Wants to change and become a Don Juan.

Haha you don't need to display shit, I don't even want to be at school on the first day and you want to be a dancing monkey, you don't even need to introduce, don't even put yourself out there just relax, trust, you'll have a lot of time and opportunities to achieve what your trying to do and when you and others are more comfortable you can do whatever and no one will care and will open up to your requests, don't try to stand out by force, first observe .. You don't wanna make yourself too different too soon even if its who you are, your already coming from a bad place your going to outcast yourself by being a calculated idiot

Most of the time on the first day I just catch up with people I know, see who's interesting in my classes, etc..yeah meeting people is great, but don't try over-doing it. Like Slater said it's just the first day, you got time for that.

Make sure you do meet people though, the first couple days is the easiest to do that in.

Literally the only thing I would focus on the first two days of school is the seating. Once you pick a seat your not moving, I'll tell you that from experience.
