Giving value

I know a big part of being liked is giving value, so I would like to know exactly how this is done.
Is it achieved from laughing at others jokes?
Or is it achieved from telling your own, and making others laugh.

giving value means have fun, and spreading fun and other social cues which are deemed valuable, such as humor (yes jokes), respect, touch, stories, ect ect.

Being liked, which shouldnt be a goal, is to be LIKABLE!

Value could be anything, from money, looks, certain characteristics, time, people value positive people, people value good listeners, guys value other guys with balls and goals, girls value party times and dick blah blah ect., there's a lot of value in a lot of things and people value different things.. Generally put value into your own time and don't take value from others and you'll be good.. Like by asking how to get people to like you with an abstract thing such as value, your already taking value from the place your coming from. You kinda don't do things to make people like you, you do you and like other people and maybe others will like you and the value you bring and others won't like you and the value you bring.
