If your not in abundance don't waste time online, text and online game is a weird and manipulative way of communicating. But seriously for the most part anything when it comes to flirting on facebook is really lame and it often comes off as really needy. I've only done it a handful of times maybe 4-5 times.

I don't like it when I see people writing off FB as a means to getting chicks. YES, i agree that its definitely not the best way (probably the worst), and there are other ways. But if the kid wants help on how to get chicks on fb, give it to him, but also advise him its not what he should do at the same time.
Everyone has different ways of working it with chicks. I myself have managed to bag a few chicks from just talking to them over fb, getting their number etc. Its not like it won't work, it does.

At the end of the day, on fb, don't be creepy. Keep it flirty, funny and entertaining. Its the simplest and easiest form of game. But doesn't work on everyone so don't be bummed out if it goes sour.
